A few of the ghosts at the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World quite literally followed some guests home during the Disney Parks Halfway to Halloween celebration! Watch Madame Carlotta and Madame Renata share some screams with our guests with a not-so-scary surprise.

THIS is what Disney needs to do more of!! Get the jump scares in the parks during Halloween! People love it! Universal has HHN, Knotts has Knotts Scary Farm, Six Flags has Fright Fest. It wouldn’t have to be super scary but something along the lines like this. This is so good! Pirates of the Caribbean at the exit with dead pirates!

I remember Haunted Mansion used to have a cast member stationed in the banging doorway section at rare times to spook people when they come by. I would've loved to see it for myself, but apparently they don't do that anymore since there were some "karens" that complained about it scaring them...

This is such a fun idea. Feels like you could do something similar with Pirates of the Caribbean with pirates hiding in the queue. Maybe you could have some of the Maleficent thorn dancers from Festival of Fantasy creeping around Fantasyland, or a character hiding in the caves on Tom Sawyer Island. Feels like there would be some cool opportunities.

finally thank you !!! I wish Disney would do more live actors in rides such as Pirates, Manchion, Figment, Tower of Terror etc. Mix it up to be either at the end such as this one or somewhere in the enterance cue.

Call me eccentric, and many do, I ONLY visit the Haunted Mansion at night. There’s something distinctly unappealing about exciting the mansion during a bright, sunny, temperate SoCal day. Nope. Ideally, you would exit the attraction in the dead of night (See what I did there?) in an atmosphere where exactly duplicates a humid New Orleans at 4AM.
