Really nice investigation - well done. Just wanted to note that some of the language used in the questions is modern and might not be understood in the 1800s. For example you might want to use father instead of Dad. Language was quite a bit more formal back then. I was waiting for you to ask about slaves or servants- there would have been quite a few associated with a large house like this. Looking forward to Part 2.

Hi, Jon, I have to admit I prefer it when you walk around a place, I would have loved to see what the Mansion looks like and for you to give us some history on it first, rather than sitting around in a room.
