The HRP is an 800 kilometre thruhike from the Atlantic Ocean to the Meditteranean Sea, traversing the highest possible route over the full length of the Pyrenees. With it's 52 kilometres of altitude gain through boulder fields, snow and scrambles, it's considered one of the most difficult and challenging hikes in Europe; however, one of the most rewarding.
We started in Hendaye the 3rd of June and completed the HRP the 9th of august in Banyuls-sur-Mer.

Best HRP video ive seen. so amazing. question. what navigation set up did you use? and is it easy enough to find your way?

Hey! Sorry for the late answer:) We used GAIA With the IGN Maps for france and a topo for spain. For some of the off trail parts i would bring a map if i was to do it again. Just to get a better understanding of my surroundings and to learn to read the mountains, find a place to bivouac etc. But most of it can be done without:) Enjoy!

désolé, j'accroche pas... les images sont parfois belles, je reconnais plusieurs sites (je pratique les Pyrénées depuis 40 ans..), mais il n'y a pas de fil conducteur. . la HRP mérite un autre traitement

Quand on fait la HRP on ne la fait pas pour filmer tous les jours de marche, on profite de l'aventure. Dans cette vidéo il nous montre de très beau paysage qu'il a du capturer de temps en temps et c'est déjà génial de sa part de nous le partager, on retrouve des paysages familiers qui ramènent de très bon souvenirs. La HRP ne mérite pas un autre traitement, elle mérite d'être faite ! :)
