As a park volunteer, the number of times we have to clean up peoples rock "witness piles" is beyond absurd. Knock it off, or stay out of the park.

My wife and I spent 10 days at Havasupai for our honeymoon , in August of 1988 , Shit has changed.. There was only a chain to Mooney falls.. good luck... My wife and I were climbers so we loved the place, we were there for the full moon.. Not a drop of rain in 10 days.. One of the most beautiful places i have been. Thanks for the video...

I hope one day to be able to visit Havasupai, Mooney and Beaver Falls along with other areas in the Grand Canyon. I've visited the Grand Canyon several times and heard about these places but I've never gotten to go down into the Canyon itself, only looked in from the South Rim. Well, hopefully I'll get there some day soon.

I went down there and back up in 1 day with 1 gallon of water and some protein powder. Big mistake. Take more water than 1 gallon. Luckily someone left half a jug at the base of the switch back on the way back up.

Does someone tell you to get to higher ground or do you judge when to leave? I'm going there Monday and I'm scared as heck to have a flood happen while we are there.

Set up a tent in the dry wash next to a river. Surprise! Tent gets washed away. Good thing it didn't happen in the middle of the night.
