Such funny synchronicity... I just left a therapy session feeling really crummy, frustrated, and sad. Flopped on the couch, flicked open my subscriptions thinking "it'd be nice to just have someone to help me through these tough emotions today" and here you are. Thanks Tom.

Panic and migraines are not nothing - both can be very scary, extremely stressful, and painful. I'm so sorry you had such a tough experience; I hope you're doing much better and feeling more centered and pain-free. it's a testament to your spirit that you chose to turn a tough time into something creative and comforting for others. Thank you for that. Take care of yourself as well as you've taken care of us.💜

These videos always seem to come at a time when I need them most. And it's always a huge comfort, knowing these also help you too, Tom. (Especially now). I'm sorry you had a bit of a scare recently. I can only imagine the fear that came with a panic attack resurfacing after 5 years, or even just the unknown that came with this ocular migraine. But it's super relieving to hear that it turned out to be nothing. 💙 And I'm glad that you've reached a point of certain optimism about the experience, knowing the symptoms and taking it as a learning experience. It takes a lot of courage to get to that point after going through something like that, even after all the 'what if's' that our brains like to torture us with. Honestly this whole video/vibe was extremely beautiful. The significance of being open about your tough time, while adding the relaxing ambient vibes soundtrack... it's so powerful. Even the contrast between the colder blue and the warmer glow is stunning, plus with the background lights. Also being able to describe your bad day, and then flipping it into manifestations and reassurances, while finding the simple joys in little audio effects and simply existing with the music - it's really something. It feels like a little meditation. And it's exactly this type of reflective content that's so NEEDED. I'll never get tired of the vibe you share with the world. Just like you say - tomorrow's a new day, and tomorrow this will be gone. 💙 You got this. We all do. (and yes I yawned too lol)

I turn to ASMR when I need a hug as I don't have anyone in that respect. Your videos, along with a select few others, are such a comfort. I've been going through a lot, and have started new treatment for MS which is leaving me exhausted, as well as dealing with depression and anxiety. It's a lot. So your videos really help me calm down and relax. I often wonder do you and others know just how much your videos help those of us going through mental and physical stress? It means a lot to have this, like a kind of therapy, if you will. I'm sure it often feels like that for you, just putting yourself out there like this, putting your trust in us as well. So really, thank you so much. Your sincerity and care are appreciated 💜 I hope you're feeling better, Tom. Panic attacks and migraines are an absolute bitch. I'm sorry you had such an awful day. Sending you hugs, too.

My name is Thomas, I also suffer from ocular migraines occasionally. I tried Relpax for a while and it seemed to help, but controlling the anxiety seemed to have been my saving grace. I also remember my worst panic attack, it was my 27th birthday October of '22. I didn't feel that I was where I needed to be in life and judged myself way too critically at that time. Everything goes numb and panic sets in. They are absolutely debilitating and it helps so much to have people in your circle that understand and can show empathy to your ordeal. I'm blessed to have that, as many do not. I also come to your videos when I am in need of calming down and can confidently say you've helped me more than once. Everything will be alright, Tom. Keep people around you who love and care about you, it makes a world of difference. "Tomorrow is a new day, and tomorrow this will be gone."

Its crazy how much I relate to what you're experiencing Tom! I've had anxiety and panic disorder for around 9 years. And when I first experienced an ocular migraine, I went through the same things you spoke about! It truly is a terrifying experience, and it would induce a panic attack in most, if not all, people! Don't be so hard on yourself for panicking in such a situation, it was completely natural! I spiralled into a panic attack too when I first had one. Even now that I know what ocular migraines are, I think I would still be scared if I had one again. What I've found to be helpful is to be aware of my stress levels and triggers, I often have normal headaches before the onset of an ocular migraine. Getting lots of rest and staying hydrated are super important too. I hope this helps, you're not alone in this experience! And I hope you feel better super soon! :)

These few days have been absolutely horrible. Intense Panic attacks I haven’t had in years have come back etc. I’m autistic and went into a meltdown from sensory overloads. And I also haven’t had any sleep which I depend on. These kinds of videos are the best for me in times like these. The comfortable dark background with dimming lights, hypnotic music in the background and feeling like Tom is talking directly to me. It’s so easy to feel alone, I love these videos because I don’t feel alone anymore. And I’m in a safe space where I am relaxed and can hope for a better day tomorrow ❤️ thank you Tom, and I hope you’re feeling better, anxiety and migraines can really be a bitch sometimes

Good afternoon Tommy, I've always known you to be a good-hearted man. Your courage and humility in coming here, on You Tube, to expose your fragility, makes that very clear. Congratulations! If I already admired you, now I admire you much more! I was a victim of an abusive relationship. Since then, I suffer from severe episodes of panic. I take medication, I go to therapy, but the terrible memories of everything I experienced do not leave my head. I wish you God's blessings and protection, and that He will always show you the best way. Receive my hug. Take care and be well!

Tom I am so sorry that you had to experience that panic attack and ocular migraine. Don't count your panic attack as a defeat, but use it to look back on how far you have come since the previous panic attacks. You have come so far! You are not the same man you were since 2018! I myself had a panic attack with some PTSD that I haven't had since 2018/2019 that caught me off guard last Monday. Even though I had to experience that moment, it was just a moment and it passed. Whenever you are going through something just remember that it is just a moment and moments always leave. That always encourages me. I'm going to be praying for you for your emotions from what you have just experienced, your thoughts from the event and afterwards, and anything else that may have happened. You are loved more than you ever know. Glad you are okay

I used to get them with too cold of AC. Like an ice cream headache. Tommy, don't let it get you down or scared. Been there. You are confident, and have it together. Don't let it shake you up. Heck, I went into afib again from back spasms for the third time...gotta get another cardioversion. I'm not letting it get me down. Love you man. Don't let it get you down. You are deeply loved out here. You are a survivor. Hugs Jimmy in Green Bay.

Such a wonderful video; thank you for sharing about your life like you do (4 weeks between posts seemed long- I was a little worried). I too have ocular migraines and the first one scared the life out of me. Now, years later, I know two things: I HAVE to close my eyes and take deep breaths. Once I've done that, I can reach for medicine. Second, those migraines are a signal that I've got to take some time to assess my life. Stress like that can be avoided if I make changes. Best of luck with your health.❤

Slowly, slowly, I am taking control of my panic attacks. Anxiety is no joke for sure, it has taken years of therapy to get through. It's rare that I have a full blown attack, but it still happens from time to time. The other day I was triggered and I had a really hard time getting my panic under control. But today I did something that used to trigger atracks and I can now handle. Hang in there, tomorrow is a new day! you are amazing and your videos help me reset my mind! Thank you!

I don't know what an ocular migraine is, but I've been suffering from regular migraines since the pandemic (probably since 2021), I'd get them while working from home, being stressed in my personal and professional life, constantly connected, not sleeping well, etc. Since the pandemic I only gained weight, migraines and shitty skin lol, but yep, I never had migraines before then, save for really extraordinarily stressful times (happened in about 2 or three small very stressful periods in my life) and now it's a regular thing whenever I get stressed. This all to say that I get you on the migraine thing and hope it gets better for you. Thanks for the relaxing video

So glad it's passing Tom ❤ back in 2011 I had the numbness thing happen to me. My grandmother had gone into hospice care and my aunt was having surgery for her breast cancer on the same day and it was a horrible time. The left side of my face started tingling (not the good kind) and then felt numb, it was scary but ended up just being stress and I've never had it happen since. One of my aunts once thought she was having cardiac issues but there too it was just the circumstances at the time. Really hope you keep feeling better 🙂 big hug ❤

I know I’m a bit late to the relaxing party but I just want to say as someone who has suffered many many panic attacks to the point where I was crying uncontrollably for no obvious reason dealing with pins and needles x1000 in my face and hands whilst hyperventilating they really do suck but your not alone In your struggle, and that goes for anyone, sometimes life gets the better of us and unfortunately nothing can change that but all that matters is how we move forward. Mine came from a lot of uncertainty and loss across too short of a time but I’m doing very well now and for anyone else that might be having a hard time right now you’ll get there too, deep breaths, feel everything in the moment negative or positive and focus on the one thing that drives you and wade through it in your own time. Focus on yourself for once in your life even if it’s briefly and You’ll be ok… trust me. Pain, stress, anxiety there all things we feel in the moment but those moments pass and will pass if they havnt already, you’ll get there. I hope this reaches those who need it.

Hey loves, I’m here to say that you’re never alone. It’s going to be okay, I promise. Why? Because you’ve made it this far and you’re still kicking, still living, still breathing. I know things are rough right now, I know they are, and that’s okay. You’re gonna be okay no matter what happens. Your situation may suck, but YOU will be okay. Bad days happen, I had one myself today. Just remember that you don’t have to feel better all at once, and don’t admonish yourself for “going backwards”. I like thinking of progress as a spiral as opposed to a linear path - you can walk along the spiral and feel like you’re going in circles, but you’re slightly further out, in a slightly different place than you were before even if it feels the same. So, you’re never going “backwards” or losing your progress because your situation is different. Yes, you may experience similar things, revert to old coping mechanisms, etc., but you’re never going to be on that same spot on the line again… and that’s okay. YOU will be okay, just keep BEING as opposed to feeling like you have to BE DOING something to have worth, value, etc. Being is enough, I promise 💜

Recovery isn’t linear, sometimes circumstances get the best of us and we can’t control our own minds. You experienced something scary for the first time and didn’t know what was going on, anyone would’ve panicked in that situation! I’m sorry you’ve been having a hard time but there are better days ahead for you and soon these experiences will simply be part of the past 💕

I love how you used the RAV9 soundtrack for the background sounds in this video. One of my favorite RAV soundtracks.

I can sympathize about the migrane. I've gotten throughout my life and they can be scary. I had one in school once and half of the chalkboard just disappeared!

Bro, I’ve been there. Panic attacks are debilitating. I hope you’ve got someone you can talk to when this stuff is happening. Sorry this happened. This is a temporary bump in the road. You got this.

Sorry to hear that your suffering with panic attacks I know them all too well, I had 2 major strokes in my 20s very luckily I came out of them without any disabilities or side effects I couldn’t even speak after my second one but when they gave me thrombolysis I came back around, im very lucky to be here that I can drive walk talk and dance but I did suffer with panic attacks after them though my mouth would go numb so would my hand or fingers or any other part of my body, so I went through this an awful amount, I had it really bad one evening my neighbour even thought I was having a stroke because I was having a lot of numbness but it turned out I was having a major panic attack so the paramedic told me to get panic attacks for dummies so I thought why not and it worked for me and I didn’t even read the whole thing just a bit in fact but also because I had so many panic attacks and I got through them all and they didn’t kill me I sort of took them on thinking well I’ve been through this before so I said to my panic attacks (don’t laugh 😁) come on do your worst il take you on!! I didn’t realise that doing that would soon end them and that’s the truth , I know that this might not work for everybody but it definitely helped me but it doesn’t end there even though I got rid of my panic attacks during the day I would get them at night when I would go to sleep so they are sneaky little b*stards! I would wake up out of my sleep feeling that I was choking or suffocating it was really bad so this went on for years and I realised that I had a lot of thyroid symptoms so I went to the doctor and got bloods done and it came back borderline thyroid but because I had so many symptoms he put me on levothyroxine which completely stopped my night time panic attacks and they really just turned my life around completely in more ways then one. I do recommend to people to get your bloods checked for thyroid issues as they can cause anxiety and panic attacks and even depression, if your feeling low on energy as I was too it might be linked to thyroid. I’ve dealt with many people who suffered with panic attacks and it’s good to have someone there to help talk you through it, please don’t be afraid to ask for help it’s ok to not be ok you will get through that is a promise. If anyone needs help I’m here if you need to ask any questions at all. I just wanted to say to Tom that even though you were going through anxiety and panic attacks you still came on here to KZfaq to help others out to me that says everything about the person you are you have a good kind special soul and that means everything especially in todays world, don’t think that your alone Tom because you truly are not 💖

@@RelaxingMaleASMR no problem, if I can help just one person out by sharing then it’s worth it. Panic attacks can be the hardest experiences that people go through I just want everyone to know you don’t have to go through it alone.
