Learning about the rich history and heritage of iconic American made knives can take us to many places. From battlefield to out into the field doing what needs to be done in the hands of those that purchased them. So reliable that they don't have a lifetime warranty but a legacy warranty that can be passed down through a family from generation to generation.
What does it take to go from raw materials to a brand new knife riding on your hip? Today we take a factory tour of the Buck knives facility in Post Falls Idaho. Eighteen years from El Cajon in San Diego county to Post Falls Buck Knives carries on a family tradition of faith and workmanship. Please do enjoy the tour and please see the links in the descriptions below.

They will be no longer machine stamping the blade tang, instead using shallow laser etching....bad move Buck!!! Collectors love the machine stamp.

Outstanding. I was there in July. Awesome place with great people. Seeing where and how your knives (I have dozens of Bucks) were made deepens your appreciation for them. Thanks for sharing your visit. Very well done.

I've seen other video's on the Buck Factory floor, but yours is the best. Now that I have more or less collected the 100 series sheath knives. I have promised myself not to buy any more knives, of any brand. I have so many. Most are hanging on walls and shelves in my bedroom. So much money spent :) Ah well, I will break the habbit. Oh and not to worry, I will put out a video of my Buck knife collection and the Campmate 620. Take care and keep em sharp.

Thanks for showing this. Compare this to the video on how the Khukuri house makes their knives!! Also, louder than a C-130? But less than indirect fire ARTEP
