@@msandrews87 yes! Sweet Soulfood and Coalesce Goods are amazing, and they’re both black owned. Bywater Bakery is another black owned place with plenty of vegan options. Also Breads on Oak is a 100% vegan bakery and cafe.

When I lived in New Orleans I stopped at a raggedy old gas station and they had the best Fried Chicken, Boudain, and custard pie I've ever had in my life. I can't tell you the name because the sign was falling off and faded.
