I think this is my favorite video of yours ever. Great stuff, creative, fun, relevant, great production value. This is the type of video I tried to do back in the day with creativity but could never get anything close to the production quality.

I tried putting 2001 topps in the oven for a few minutes on 200 degrees. I was able to save a few cards. The Ichiro graded an 8. Great video

This was a great vid, Jon. One of your best ever. Love the skits. Has anyone ever tried smoke?? Like from a handheld smoke gun? Stick the cards in a ziplock bag and smoke the crap outta them. I think it has potential. I feel like cards absorb smoke very well. I've bought plenty of cards over the years that stank of cigarettes.

Real funny video and a great one. Since heat works some on the cards. Microwave doesn't work or Fire doesn't work. How about a oven on low low heat. Just my opinion and half a good weekend and Peace.

What about multiple methods applied? Start with rice to clear moisture, remove any immediately lose cards, then apply freezing, remove lose cards, then end with one of the heating measures? In like a year you'll have a fully recover box of cards. hahaha

Boil the brick in hot water, gets them apart every time with no paper loss.

Sadly there will never be a cure to bricking. Over time the UV coating "liquifies" on a molecular level and hardens to become part of each other.

Iv been doing experiments and have found that steam is the best way to get them unstuck and minimized damage. I would set a large pot on the stove and get the water boiling. Then I would lay a grated cookie cooling rack over the top of the pot. Put a few opened packs of bricked cards on the rack and let them steam for a few minutes. Check each one frequently and only pull off what falls off. Return to rack if the brick is still stuck after a few cards come off.

With the Spicy Potato Soft Taco you can afford to eat and carry on this important research.

Please consult a physician before using a blowtorch on your 90's baseball cards.

Maybe sun dry bricked cards like tomatoes?

I think maybe in an oven. At a high enough temp to heat up whatever has the cards stuck together but not hot enough to warp or burn the cards

Has anyone ever tried the lowest setting on an oven for 5-10 mins? Seems like what's needed is a steady heat to heat the UV coating just enough so that it's pliable.

I find Upper Deck 93 Baseball to be the worst for bricking.

How about the complete opposite and try a humidifier/humidor? All the "drying" methods don't work.

Just for shits and giggles Try putting them in a container with 3-4 pieces of bread … I know if you want hard chocolate chip cookies soft again you put them in a container with with a couple pieces of bread and after a day or two the bread will turn rock hard but the cookies will be soft like their over fresh Just an out of the big idea which is what it’ll take to solve this unsolvable mystery
