Have We FAILED Vanlife After 1 Month

Ай бұрынIn this video we started off at a campsite in Dungloe where we had a look around the pier and enjoyed some local cuisine, from here we headed to the stunning Assaranca Waterfall which is just a short drive outside the town of Ardara easily accesed by turning of the N56 onto a smaller road. Just round the corner from here we pulled into a car park which was 6 euro charge for the van that allowed us to go and explore of the Caves of Maghera and the stunning white sand beach with crystal clear waters.

Your landlord can rise the rent & take your home away by selling the house but no one can take your camper van away from you that’s what I like about van life because I can live comfortably in my van & I don’t have to worry about being evicted or anything van life is the best alternative life good on you guys for embracing your new life whereas now you don’t have to worry about the rent anymore or what your landlord is going to do you are now free

The title is a question as ‘Some’ people see using camp sites when you are full time as a fail, we don’t personally because if you need to use them then use them but there are people who don’t and have their opinions on it. And yes Ireland is literally stunning 🤩

Hi Both My wife & I are in a similar position as yourselves, after 17 years renting the same house with very little work done to the house by the landlord. Then a few months ago he called in & told us that he will be putting the rent up shortly. I ask is that going to be before or after the 8 jobs that need doing on the house? To him laughing & walking out. So the wife & I are thinking of moving into our motorhome & putting our stuff into storage. My wife being a paramedic & me working with the ambulance service hopefully we will be ok to park up in the works car park when we are working & then get away from work when we don't have to be there. Keep up the videos as they are giving us ideas.

The government are paying top bat to landlords to house the illegals so the greedy landlords are turning family homes into HMO’s, it’s great if you have a van option but it doesn’t make it right.

I tell you, I cannot wait til next year when I do the same and this house is sold and no money grabbing family thinking they can dictate what I do with my life. If you failed and this became the Urban Cavelife channel I think I could watch that. With just a Sigmond the Sea Monster outfit you could probably work a few side gigs to make enough clams off tourists to keep things going. Maybe start adopting sea otters (people like watching otters, good for views). Then dress and act like you're on the Armstrong and Miller Show and I think you could go viral.

be careful of the dogs on the wall with a drop on the other side as my jack russel went straight over one into a semi frozen river ....dropped 15 feet..if it had been on the ground he would have broken his legs...enjoy the journey..

Our Ancient East also has lots to offer and the weather is always better on the south East. it would be a loss not to experience it,so many come just for the Atlantic Way spin and don't bother to go East, shame to miss out while you're here.

Up the Peak District in England I stopped at a camp site and they charged me £10 for what they called a service. For that you got 4 hours and you can use all facilities. Showers washing electric hook up waste disposal etc. thought it was a great deal 👍🏻

That’s really good and there are a few that offer services for a nominal fee which is good but have seen a rise in places stopping it as some people are not playing by the rules which damages things for others!!

It’s a sad sign of the times that seems to be happening al over the world . Canada USA and uk and it’s all down to governments greed and people being bad humans . But we wish you the best of luck and you’ll be fine . You have a plan b so that’s a massive bonus . And the money you save on evey thing that mini van may end up being a big van in a few months .. and you’ll own it all ❤️❤️

The title of the video is a question because ‘some people’ see using campsites as a fail when full time living in a van, also we both have worked full time for many years Neil as a DJ and me as a successful bar manager that’s how we managed to afford to build the van, feed ourselves, look after our furry family. Neil also works as an editor for other American channels and companies and I work remotely for a health and wellness company whilst I am also studying remotely to change my path in life after working and making money for other people for so long, hope this answers your questions.

11 a.m. only referred to the day you were there. That could be high tide time within a week. It advances about 50-60 minutes per day. And that’s only a rough guide. It can be more or less. So 11 being low tide that day, 11.50 the following day, 12.55 the next, 2.15 the next and so on.

This is why we said for people to check for the tide times if they are going as no one needs to get stuck or put themselves in danger or other people in danger, we where actually there around 3/4 pm on that day not 11 am this is just what we where told by someone local

@@UrbanVanlife Sorry, I just read it back and it looks like I was contradicting you. I was just explaining the unpredictability. I live on the coast and have seen people misjudging the tide and losing their cars and in one case, her life. It often never occurs to people from inland that the tide changes how high it is or what time it is at.

Not at all, the more information people have for their safety the better, we only put snapshots of our days together in the videos so if people have good reliable information it’s always good but people should always always do their own research too!!! 😊

Not too sure what it was sorry but I know it was off artlist, Neil has a habit of deleting things after he’s used them and on artlist can’t get a history of tracks used

True it all happened very quickly but our four doggo’s are only small so really if you put them all together they just amount to the size of one big dog really …. Just extra legs, tails and nose boops ♥️🐾♥️

We both work remotely, Neil edits videos for a few American creators and companies and I work remotely for a health and wellness company whilst I am also studying to change my path from being a bar and club manager for years.

As a renter myself and knowing I’ll never own a property my plan is to go full time in a motor home in a few years. No more council tax, electric bills, rent etc etc.

More and more people are doing it as they just can’t afford or justify the prices, it’s a shame but people have to do what they need to for their own health, mentally, physically and financially 😊
