These are "éclairs" and I make them since decades 😊 but I bake them in the oven like my Mom did. It saves a lot of calories from the frying oil and they're beautiful. I fill them with various sweet creams or alternatively serve them as appetizers: leave out the sugar when preparing the dough, bake them (don't open the oven otherwise they collapse!), let them cool properly and then cut them in the middle like a burger bun. Place e.g. a bit of cocktail sauce in the middle and a shrimp on top and you get plenty of compliments. Or any other filling for a bit a bigger "amuse bouche". Bon appetit!

Sehr schönes Rezept! 🤗 Bei uns in Deutschland nennt man diesen Teig Brandteig und diese Spritzkuchen werden bei uns im Sauerland als Spritzringe bezeichnet. Sehr lecker und luftig wie eine Wolke … nur halt kalorienreich! Leider ist das so … alles was gut schmeckt 😬

Mir gefallen die Videos sehr! Durch das verwendete equipment (Glasschüsseln, Holzlöffel, Gaskocher) wirkt alles so clean. Dazu die Ruhe beim Arbeiten, keine Sprache, nur ruhige Hintergrundmusik - das ist alles richtig klasse. Aus Gründen habe ich die Lust am Kochen und Backen verloren, aber wenn ich diese Videos schaue, bekomme ich wieder Lust dazu.

They're called French Crullers in the US, and they're one of my favorites. Very light and airy with a slightly crisp outside when they're fresh. My favorite glaze for them was a honey glaze I tried at one time. I find them to be much tastier than cake donuts, and yes they're made like an eclair, except they're deep fried. They can be hard to find in the US sometimes.

Please correct the caption. This isn’t baking a cake ; it’s deep frying churros or whatever it called in different languages. It’s called “bamiyeh in Persian. The recipe is GREAT.👍😋

In Italy we call these giuseppine and bakeries sell them during february, at Carnival time, before Easter!! Filled with vanilla custard!! :D

I'd like to at the time of icing, make some of them with half water and half lemon juice or with vanilla to add various flavors at the end. But this is great! One third one third one third for example, lemon and vanilla are great in baking.

We call this choux pastry used for puffs, salt or savory, and eclairs. We bake it though. I'll certainly try this method thank you

La cuisson de la pâte à choux, comme pour les beignets, à tester. Ce doit être très bon. Par contre, en remplacement du glaçage sucré, je vais y mettre du chocolat fondu, ou tout simplement du sucre glace. En tout cas, c'est très original cette forme de cuisson de la pâte à choux🙏🧑‍🍳🌷🇫🇷

Ich kenne sie unter dem Namen Eberswalder Spritzkuchen und ich liebe sie 😍, Aber das spritzen hat mich bald wahnsinnig gemacht, da der Teig sehr fest sein muss, sonst zerläuft es zu sehr beim Ausbacken Ich muss es im Winter wieder machen, denn die selbstgebackenen schmecken 10 mal besser als die gekauften.

Danke für das Video. Ich habe immer gezögert, mal Brandteig zu machen. Aber nach dem Video werde ich es mal versuchen. Es scheint nicht so schwer zu sein, wie ich befürchtet habe 😊. Ich liebe Ihren Kanal und hab schon viel gelernt. Ich habe eine Bitte, vielleicht wäre es möglich: Könnten Sie bitte einmal eine "Pavlova" backen? Ich liebe dieses Gebäck mit Beerenhaube - aber es zerbricht mir IMMER. Vielleicht kann ich mir ein paar Tricks abschauen. Ihnen weiterhin gutes Gelingen 🍀

Pavlova??? Bist du Deutscher? meinst du the centuries old ‘baiser torte’? The Australian version is a large type of meringue made with egg whites & sugar. A fluffy marshmallow texture inside with a crunchier meringue shell Decorated with whipped cream & berries or mango & passionfruit 👍

man kann den teig auch als knubbels auf ein blech mit backpapier spritzen,, dann im ofen backen= windbeutel

Thank you so much for this recipe. I think ill use cinnamon sugar instead of powdered though. For some reason powdered sugar tastes a bit musky to me even out of a brand new bag =/

Make it yourself as you need it! I discovered it more by accident when we had sugar shortage in my country of residence ... simply put normal sugar in a blender and run at high speed. Perfect result and on top of it it's not overpriced like the powdered sugar (at least here it costs almost double). Good luck!

@@ESO529 we only have a small system we did ourselves, from a company without much support it was an adventure we have 2 batteries, my husband knows more but we constantly have to monitor the voltage ⚡ to ensure it doesn't go too high or low. Plus we are in a unique area that can be a bit dreary luckily we also have a wind turbine that helps

@@missbackwoods Well ... in that case you should get yourself a mortar and a pestle and I'm not joking. It works! In the previous place we often had power outages (one of the reasons we got solar in our house as we have 350 days/year sun) and I got myself one to make my basilico pesto if I just make a quick portion. But it also makes powdered sugar 😅. If you want to try it I recommend you cover thr mortar with a plastic otherwise the sugar will be all over the place ... happened to me the first time 🙈. The best ones are those made of brass (a bit noisy) or of granite. Wish you luck, Eleonora
