In the Gospel of John, we find a profound and stirring account of Jesus' interaction with Peter after His resurrection. Three times, Jesus asks Peter, "Do you love me?" This seemingly simple question carries deep significance, challenging Peter to examine the sincerity and depth of his love for the Lord. This moment serves as a powerful reminder for all of us to reflect on our own love for God.
Peter had denied Jesus three times. Despite Peter's previous failures, Jesus still sought to restore and reaffirm their relationship, emphasizing the importance of the love in their discipleship highlighting that God's unfailing love and grace invites us to examine our own shortcomings and experience His forgiveness.
