OMG Justine OMG~~~~ Your Embossing Folder Techniques are Ingenious and it was so much fun watching your creative process and NOPE have never tried any of those techniques YET....but sure can't wait to give 'em a try!! I do LOVE to use my embossing folders and have loads of regular folder and have had them forever ....and have added lots of 3-D folders and Embosslets.....so this is going to be extra fun to add some personality to the look!! I have both regular embossing folders and 3-D, but I am gradually getting rid of many of my regular style, simply because I purchase them because I liked them, but then cannot figure out what to do with them! Thanks for this great video! Will try my perfect pearls on an embossed design next!

i use a piece of cardstock as a shim to regular folders and the image is a bit more raised like the 3-D folders. 🌸

I enjoyed this video so much!! I actually love to use my embossing folders because I love the subtle classy look it gives & texture too! NEVER HEARD OF INKING right on the embossing folder before!! What a great idea! I have inked or added color after embossing but not before! Thanks for the great idea! I love the 3D folders too. I made a couple of oops with those that didn’t occur to me: I enjoy embossing my envelopes with a corner/flourish folder & the flap with a little design or just with dots. Again, I like the subtle added touch but now LOVING these coloring ideas. Oops, digressed…Embossed envelope with 3D “Basket Weave” image and it cracked the envelope!! Ugh! I have thought about trying to stack together several to see if that will allow embossing without cracks but afraid to waste my envelope sets in case it doesn’t solve the problem! Appreciate you using perfect pearls ideas! I have them & forget about them-I seem to grab Wink of Stella, Nuvo drops (painted on for color,) stickles & still have lots of the Smooch accent inks -that are discontinued- & guess I get my iridescent fix that way! I’m going to watch your video on them next! I’m a pretty new subscriber & have enjoyed your presentation style immensely!! Loved the craft room decluttering series especially-watched it several weeks ago & should have left a comment then! Anyway, thanks for staying right on topic, not taking long pauses to mumble something to yourself, not having kids or pets in videos to distract from getting to the content! Professionally done and with a great attitude plus enthusiasm!! Refreshing!! Some of these videos I can tell in less than 2 minutes if I can sit through them!!
