You should always have a life outside of your relationship, no matter how great it is. It is important to have your own hobbies and interests and friends outside of your partner. You don't want to be someone's everything and you shouldn't make them your everything.
Take care of yourself! That way, you can be a better partner for them in the end. But love yourself first, always.
Thanks for watching!

agree! I have a boyfriend. My relationship is going very healthy. But i've made him my whole world but instead he should just be a part of it. Like he has college and friends, 70% of time he's involved in those thhings so i am like ok now what do i do. And it sucks. This feelins sucks. So yeah from now on, i will try my bestt to make suree he's just a part of my world.

😮‍💨 sometimes you just want to hear someone else put in words what you are feeling. I’m so use to being alone that once I got in a relationship I haven’t been alone since and when I’m alone he wants to take my free time by being on the phone 😖 I have a few days off from work and I’ve been thinking of ways to tell him I want to spend it alone to reconnect with myself since all off my off days and free days are taken up from him it’s to the point he would call off work if he realize I have an off day I didn’t mention 😑 I’m venting I just need space to miss him and to rest and just be me anywho thank you for the video ❤

I’m literally going through this tonight, and we are both young(22 &20) both jobless but I told him, don’t let your life revolve around me because we won’t succeed by talking to each other every single day 24/7, you must have friends and go out more, at least even 40 or 50% of your time is enough for me. Now, he’s upset because he wants 100% attention. Am I doing the right thing?

I think you are doing the right thing! It's so important to have lives outside of each other. It adds more depth to you both as individuals and you'll have more to talk about with each when you are together! You'll also appreciate the time you spend together more if you have time away.

I just want to say I know this video is 3 years old. But I really needed to hear this thank you. I really take it personally when my man wants to do his own thing. And I struggle having a life outside of my marriage. But you are 10000% right space is important and missing each other is essential. Thanks for saying it all so clearly instant ❤

I'm in such a relationship and I'm annoyed, she doesn't seem to notice that she is crowding my space.I have even asked her if she didn't have hobbies.I can't even chill with my friends without her tagging along.if we are apart it means she would be nagging me on whatsapp or random calls every now and then.I love her but her constant need for my attention is way too much for me

I made the mistake twice, my ex was my everything, when she left I was broken, I had nothing. Now I accidentally did that to my current girlfriend and its not affecting me well at all, because of my previous relationship and because I know what can happen to me if something happens, also if she does something with someone else I get jealous, very jealous, and I get sad, and it affects us poorly. Its not her fault she just walked with another person home from school or has a friend over, I don't need to be jealous of their friends, but I am. I need to know how to not feel this way, for her and my sake.

Wow this only has 47 views? Subbed 👍🏾 Also it goes for men to. Everything you said applies to the opposite gender. Giving eachother space gives room and time to miss each other. Wish I knew that sooner than later but better late than never.
