Vladimire, puno pozdrava iz Canade! I'll type in English, so other people with the same question can understand it better. I have no doubts about XI35Pro and full size GoPro... but, do you think XI25Pro would be able to carry my Session 5 or Orange 5, or are they still too heavy for it. Of course, freestyle performance wouldn't be as nearly good as without those cameras, but I'm thinking for some nice and calm cinematic shots maybe (nothing professional required). I kind of like the idea of little smaller quad, so kind of leaning towards XI25Pro. It's also 6s version if I'm not mistaken. Thank you so much for your answer in advance!
@le_ti_lik
@le_ti_lik Жыл бұрын
@@Seii-FPV The xi25 bnf has 1507.2 motors which have a ton of torque. They will lift a session 5 no problem. They are tested and tuned with a DJI action 2 in mind but people have also mounted full size gopro hero 10's without batteries and been able to fly but I don't recommend it. With a session 5 or an orange it won't impact performance that much because of the tall stator, you'll be fine. 👌 The xi25 is my go-to, perfect ratio of size/performance.

I had an eye on the oddityrc for quite some time now because one of my favourite Chinese cinewhoop quad pilots seems to love this brand too. Seems reassuring that you like it too. Too bad that i Have and love the avata now. Not for flight performance's but because of the 1 axis gimbal, which make the world of difference for cinewhooping in my eyes. Also the branding on the standoffs is great - it looks nice and adds something to the overall appearance which I like. With so many quads that you have reviewed I always wonder when watching your videos - if you could only have one which would it be? @NickBurnsFPV
@NickBurnsFPV Жыл бұрын
your right and wonder if they somehow there is a sweet spot with performance as well as stable flight time with 6s over 4s or smaller. I was looking at the 2.5inch version and noted the drop down for 6s, I suspect my mind saw a 4s in the drop down but its not really a drop down, just 6s in that as well.
@pirateradioFPV
@pirateradioFPV Жыл бұрын
@@NickBurnsFPV Yeah, I clicked the drop down menu too but it only had one option. Not much stats about the motors either but 1507.2, 1806 and even the 2006 are kinda perfect sizes for my favourite class, ie. the 4", evil middle child of all the classes. In my experience 6S sags a tad later but flight time depends on the watt hours of the battery. The torque difference between 4S and 6S is negligible, 6S is able to sustain a RPM better than 4S (as in static torque) but it doesn't have more torque to spool up faster; stator height affects spool up time more than the battery does. I know we went for low stator motors because people didn't know how to use start-up power, now that we do I hope we see more of the classic xxx6 and up stator heights. Ultimately you need the stator height for the best prop authority, there's just no way around it. Oh and I wouldn't mind going 6S if it offered clear benefits over the 4S, below 5" I just feel the extra cells add extra weight or extra complexity with very little to show for it. On bigger stuff it can help for sure, which is why I fly my 6" on 6S.

@NickBurnsFPV
@NickBurnsFPV Жыл бұрын
In real life test example, I crashed this XI35pro much harder and it was undamaged. The 35v2 I didn't have any dramatic crashes to directly compare. My opinion is this prop protection on the xi35pro as well as the others just like it are very durable, and again in my opinion will survive far harder crashes than prop protection designs and materials like the cinelog35 v2. Add to that the thick carbon of the xi35pro it could be the most durable of any cinewhoop I have flown....and crashed :)

If your cinelog35 flies fine, then I would just keep it as is. I had the very first version of cinelog35 with 2004 motors which felt underpowered with gp10, and also because of the jitters, I had to switch frames. With XI35 frame, I also put 2006 motors because I wanted to carry full gp10. It took me a few days to switch frames and tune the quad with different motors. I guess it's not fair to compare these two quads now. But I am glad I did it. Again, if your cinelog35 flies fine, just leave it as is~

Ways things work - Designers find and settle on an OEM for mass production; oddityrc owns the design but does not own or controll the factories that pump stuffs out. Thinking that you don't have to give credit to the design by working with the OEM that was shared knowledge of the design alone should be considered intellectual property theft, by the OEM and it's secretive collab partner.

@@NickBurnsFPV - thank you so much for your reply, greatly appreciated. The only problem right now, is this OddityRC beauty is very, very difficult to find in any of my local stores (Canada). Waiting for it to arrive from China is killing me... it take a month if not even more sometimes, and more expensive shipping that would be here in about a week, is so expensive it's better to save money for other drone parts, lol. Is Cinebot30 zero Throttle wobble any fixable?

@@NickBurnsFPV - I've decided to ditch the Cinebot30 idea and go with OddityRC. I will definitely use your discount code, it's US$45.84 and US$54.24 lower price, respectively. US$45.84 discount for XI25Pro Avatar version) and US$54.24 for the XI35Pro. Now, the only thing is, trying to decide between XI25Pro and XI35Pro. I love the idea of XI35Pro being able to carry full size GoPro, but in the same time, I like the smaller form factor of XI25Pro. Do you think XI25Pro (2.5") would be able to carry my Session 5 or Orange 5? It's also 6s version.
@NickBurnsFPV
@NickBurnsFPV Жыл бұрын
@@Seii-FPV I do suspect it will run with the session on board. It will of course impact the aggressive flight characteristics. But smooth flat flight it will be just fine.

@@MrKillerHobbes a really really good pid tune can make a rather significant flight feel difference. With that the weight, prop protection design, prop choice, motor size and kv with the cell voltage of the battery to be run make an even larger difference.

First time I saw that style of prop protection was the Xi25, a looong time before Darwin or any of the other clones did here in China. I have the Oddity J5 ultralight 5” freestyle and love it, and the Xi20 2” cinewhoop which I like a lot. I believe it’s pronounced “She 35”, as in the family name of the premier of China.

I'm coming from the world of a DJI avata so every time I try to descend or do a dive there is horrible prop wash. Wondering if this is the case with this guy here. I want to get a "real" fpv other than the Avata. Been flying Manual mode for about 5 months but it's very limiting. Cant recover from dives well, Split S. Seems very underpowered or too heavy idk. Trying to get a feel for the next level up from an Avata that is still easy-ish to fly in manual/acro mode but I can fly near people that can keep up with a car or bike. Suggestions are appreciated. @@NickBurnsFPV
@NickBurnsFPV
@NickBurnsFPV 11 ай бұрын
@@emonsamsami1355 If we are descending with the quad flat that is normally very prop washy, and not a technique we use in typical fpv. Typically we want to nose down to some degree to descend, we can descend small amount in forward flight with just less throttle. With most quads we might experience some prop wash, but with some technique we can minimize or eliminate it. With this quad the prop wash was either non existent or easily eliminated with technique.
