A tip we found for Ollivanders...we went about 10 minutes before park close on two different nights and both times it was only my wife and I in the show. The first night she was picked and the second night she had her wand with her so Ollivander's staff "chose" me. It was soooo magical just the two of us in the room!!! (And we got great video) I would highly recommend you try it if you want to make sure you are picked 🙂

Likewise with going right when the park opens. Most people head straight for the Gringott's ride after entering Diagon Alley, so there's about a 15-30 minute window at the start of the day where you have a fairly decent chance of getting picked as well.

Hello Pugh Two.. One of my favorites things to do when the attraction/ride wait times are >60min, is have a nice cold Butter Beer and hang out in Daigon Alley. Sometimes just sitting on the steps and people watching is funinabun.

Hi Anna & Tyler! Sorry that you didn’t get picked for the Wand ceremony, better luck next time. My boys and I had a good run at the old Disaster, it is always fun when you are part of the action! Great tip on the AP Renewal, I have renew mine in December, I miss the bonus 3 / 6 month offers. I love the character meet and greet, another good time to do them is when the parks have low crowds, they will spend more time with you when there isn’t a large crowd. Anna, I cannot believe that you do not like Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter is almost like Bacon. Every thing is better with Bacon and just about everything is better with Peanut Butter! Our favorite non-ride attraction is the people! When it's busy we find a table at Chez Alcatraz or The Watering Hole and just relax, drink Blue Moon, and watch the people and make fun of everybody until our Express hits at 4.

I love my premier pass, the express after 4 is nice but the premium parking is worth it parking alone its 60$ each visit to bad yall never drive. its the reason i get premier instead of the patriot pass. Dont forget to play “crowd bingo” when its super crowded you know find a couple that are matching, find a person with a mickey shirt in universal, find a parent telling their child how much they spent to get in the park, find a sleeping adult before noon etc etc.

When ever you go to a park you always have to have a game plan. I always look up the best way to get through a park before I visit so I know what rides to get on first before the line builds. In general you take the hike all the way to the back of the park and do those rides first since most people are complete sheep and go to the first shiny thing they see

That tends to be a good strategy! It also depends what your goal is, too. If Minions is your number one must ride, it makes sense to stop there asap!

I like your videos so much. I got a question . So I am planning to go to universal in may around the 11 and I am in a big deal lol . Idk what to pick if go two busy days according to a website that the parks close at 9 or go two slow days that the parks close at 7.

Thank you Pamela! And that’s a good question! Honestly it just depends. If you think you’ll take advantage of the extra hours in the parks, we would probably pick the days that close later. If not, you might as well try your luck with the potentially less busy days!

We recently went to the parks with express. We got them bundled in a 4 day ticket for something like $700 per person. When i checked before we arrived they were $350 a day.

We took our 3 younger ones on 4/2. We knew we would encounter rain so we weren't planning any major rides. Stayed in US for the whole day. Minions was way too busy so we played at curios George. Danced with the characters inside in the ac (not sure what the place was called but right across from woody woodpeckers coaster), rode et, *almost went on MIB but my littlest was just shy of being able to go on*, went to diagon alley and got butter beer, and cast spells with our wands. It's was a great day and got to do new things we haven't done yet.

It definitely shouldn't be nearly as crowded! The express passes always make the days in the parks more fun so you wont regret it!

Hi! You may have said this before, but how early do the buses start running at Cabana Bay for early park admission? We are going in June and I think it may be pretty crowded. I would like to get on a super early bus to try to beat some of the crowd.

I believe it’s an hour before EPA is scheduled to start. So if early park is at 8 am, the busses should start around 7!

Funny that you didn't have the UOAP cup until now. It was actually our first cups due to being a promo back in January (buy one, get one free for passholders). Also, end of day in Diagon Alley is a great way to get picked for Ollivander's wand ceremony. My GF and I were the only people there for the show (and of course she got picked and not me LOL).

I am upset that we missed the Ube Ice Cream Bubble waffle and the Creole Crab beignets. We skipped this stand because I wanted to try the Lemon Blueberry Crepe at Central Park. I need to start planning our trip to attend the Mardi Gras event next year to try these items if they plan to have them again. So much food to try, just not enough time.

The weeks before and after Christmas are some of the busiest times at the park, unfortunately! Leading up to Christmas the parks will get increasingly busy

Spring break here in the U.S. is usually during March. You should be missing spring break groups in April.

The “spring break season” at Universal ends the second week in April. I believe there are some private schools that don’t go on break until then, but you should be good! We hope you have fun on your trip!!

It’s not very intense, so it could be a good introduction! Have you ridden Gringotts? It’s a little more intense than that, so conquer Gringotts first. Then, if you’re still all smiles, check out mummy!

We’ve gone the last 2 days and I just wanted to walk out. It’s just tooooo crowded. I really wish they’d limit how many people can get in the park so it doesn’t feel so tight and you can’t look at anything! We spent a LOT of money to go and I feel like we didn’t really enjoy it because of the crowds.

Its the only one sometimes. They do have a lagoon in studios that has fireworks and a lagoon show on select nights!

Olivanders we believe is the closest to 13 year old gets picked We will be bringing our grandkids so we can ride the pheranadon (is that how you spell it) when there are crowds we follow our guide book and look for the lowest haha or go the malls that's us always thinking. Harry Potter London has given me free tickets so we're going August about 4 weeks before we fly to florida

If you’re sure you’re going to buy them, do it ahead of time! If you’re on the fence, then wait and see how the parks are.

@@tomrodgers8488 I think we might stay st the doc side, it's just 2 of us and for 5 nights, 3 parks it's about $1.8 k counting 3 days with express while the premium hotels it's $1k more for same amount of days

Haha we haven’t heard that! They give warnings about specific health conditions, but there’s not an age limit as far as we’re concerned.

That’s so hard! It just depends what you’re looking for. Bourne is definitely more impressive with all the technology, while the horror makeup show is more of an informational comedy skit between the two team members. Totally different vibes!

We didn't even get the cance to worry about crowds. All flights canceled. The first flight available was on our return day! Also, no rental cars because....well, no flights. Ugh. That would have been my first trip to Universal in 10 years 🥺
