It always amazes me to hear of a reformed Catholic! I would love to meet one someday so I can pick their brain as to how their eyes were opened to the truth. The Catholics that I know won't even listen to anything I say. They have an immense fear of going to hell if they leave Catholicism so they completely shut out anything that isn't "Catholic."

I am an escaped Catholic! Praise God my Father, Jesus My Lord and Savior, and The Gift of Holy Spirit to have awakened me. I also apologized to my children for bringing them up in the cult of the catholic religion! My mother and my entire family were Irish catholic so if you know that group then you will understand my aunts treated the priests as if they were God!! It was so shameful, but those priests certainly did enjoy the dinners made for them. My Aunts were so humble in their relationship with the priests. They would invite the priests to their homes for dinner and they felt so blessed that the priest deign to even come to their homes!! It was purely Evil and that is what I think of the catholic religion, I believe it is Satanic.

Ps Jack ... hearing of known language in a tongue does happen. I have spoken in tongues and hearers have heard Hebrew, Aramaic and an Arabic dialect. I have never learned these (except a smattering of Hebrew i.e. the Arronic blessing). Each time this has happened it was a fluent and specific message for a native speaker of that language that was in the group of people assembled in worship. Each of the messages have provided comfort and exhortation to believe. The Aramaic message came with a instant healing for the hearer - her back was healed of crippling osteoarthritis. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for this!

Great teaching Pastor Jack, I grew up catholic as well, I read the book & I changed, I ended up going to a lot of different denominations, Coptic churches, orthodox churches, Anglican churches Christian churches, all different parts of the body of Christ and they were all great but I must say I learned the most at the Christian church, that's why I love Jacks teachings, I still go once and awhile to the Catholic Church, it all depends on the pastor of the church, it makes a huge difference on the message preached, no matter what denomination is preaching, they all have different traditions but they all look to the saviour in there own way, mind you I did all this after I was born again from the Christian church after I was watching Creflo Dollar one morning in the early 2000's. wow that long ago, but I praise GOD for opening my eyes

Sould do more of these chill teachings. You were so brave to repeat what the Bible says about tongues and gifts so easy to understand. Sooo hopefully people will ask Holy Spirit to help them shed wrong interpretations. It can be hard bcs our minds have a hard time letting go of our beliefs. I know I've had to do it. Praise the Lord.

Thank you Pastor HIbbs for the best teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirt, I have ever had the privilege to hear. I'm 70 years old and a clear understanding on this subject has evaded me since early childhood when the Charismatic Movement swept through my small community near Seattle leading into a lot of confusion. I have great expectations for the subsequent teachings where it will become obvious what gift was given me upon my repentance and baptism as a young married woman. I've a sneaking suspicion its around discernment/wisdom and mercy...but we'll see. I have not walked in confidence as a follower of Jesus primarily because of my ignorance as to my personal calling. As a result, I've been a bit of a Christian schizophrenic searching and trying to implement different gifts but always coming up short. Anyway, Thank you for sharing your gift of teaching! I for one am blessed beyond a proper ability to express it fully.

Jesus Christ loves you, so much that He died for you on the cross, to pay the penalty of your sins so that you wouldn't have to. We all have sinned and are deserving of God's wrath, but by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross there is full pardon for whoever believes. Put your full trust and believe in Him for salvation today, because in Him there's eternal life and freedom. Who the Son sets free is free indeed 🙏🏻 Kindly consider accepting Him into your heart as your LORD and Saviour, it's the best decision you'll ever make 😊 (Romans 10:9-10 and Ephesians 2:8-9)

Oh, Lord Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit I ask you to work a miracle and come down with conviction upon Cathys daughter. Lord use Cathy to reveal truth to her daughter. Help Cathy to stay strong, filling her with wisdom, discernment and courage to speak strongly for you. Lord, we speak and You work within her daughter’s openness to hear the truth. I know the brokenness of this mother’s hearts. Draw Cathy to you. Please wrap your arms around her and let her feel Your presence and Your loving arms while you encourage her. In Jesus name. Amen

They're not going to give the same speech 20 different times in 20 different languages they speak in their own language and 20 different languages understand Maybe it's the opposite of effect of the Tower of Babel when everybody was separated with different language

Paradise under the earth? Say not so Pastor Jack! The lower parts of the earth has been variously interpreted as a descent into hell, 1 Peter 3:19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, a descent into Sheol/Hades, the realm of the dead, Acts 2:27-31 For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’ “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. With reference to the view that He descended into hell, not Paradise, there is no biblical support for the notion that Jesus suffered in hell, only that He descended to Sheol to release the righteous dead into eternal glory.
