Falling in the water seemed to put out fire, but I guess it could be death that was putting out the fire instead. Sometimes the fire just seemed to go out for no visible reason though?

I wonder if the hair changes length based on how many rounds you've won... That would explain why it's shorter for some people sometimes and longer for others. If not that would be cool
