After watching the season 6 finale, I got inspired to make a video with the song from the episode depicting the team's memories of Steve while they're waiting in the hospital.

Kind of glad this thread is old... that way this comment will go practically unnoticed. This song made me think back to my time in the service - lost some friends - lost some guys in my unit that died WAY to young. There is nothing that can be said to take away hurt like that.... My life is full, I'm married, have a wonderful son, lost my mother, my dad, a nephew (at 19 years old).... but I look forward to holding my grand-kids one day... thank you for this song - it suits my life perfectly. - Ohana.

I'm crying this is perfect i wish the writers had thought of this. Each member of five O having their own moments they had with Steve. He is stubborn, tough, control freak, he drives danny and his team mad, he is a big softy. And everyone in that waiting room is terrified to loose him. He brought them all together each one broken but Steve gave them a purpose a Family and they all gave Steve a Family.

goldenballs 420:actually another good epsoide is where Danny almost dies in quarantine for season 8 epsoide 10 now granted if the show hadn’t written out Kono and chin it probably would have been a tiny bit more heartbreaking like this one with Steve but still

If Steve's sister and their mother had heard that Steve had been shot while undercover and heard that Danny had decided to donate part of his liver to save him, they would've been crying and praying that they pull through. So would Catherine Rollins if she had heard about it.

Chin-Ho telling about how McGarrett stayed with him at the all-night Café and just read the newspaper 📰 together, having coffee ☕️, usually in silence...understanding that was what Chin-Ho needed, right then. Great detail, by screen-writers. 😀👍
