I've been loving Hawaiian music a long time. My cousins been on da' Big Island @ 40 years. I've been going there off & on for many years, & lived there a few years. I love listening to all the great older preachers, many who've gone to be with the Lord in His Kingdom. It's refreshing to hear J. Vernon MaGee's voice & teachings. A true man of God! He speaks of the Laodecean Church as being the last Upper Room. You can still look him up online where he preaches @ Revelations, a very well-organized book to read. This reminded me of my family’s trip to Hawaii so many memories of the waves hitting the shore, listening to the breeze in the palm trees and ukulele music, the smell of Coconut and Pineapple!!! Such great atmosphere in Hawaii!!!

Why does This make me feel happy and sad at the same Time? Everytime i listen to it and close My eyes i get carried away to a whole new Place and it feels like i’ve heard it before? That is a good thought. I was born in Hawaii 1944 and Hawaii is nothing like it used to be. If you do go, go for the Islands themselves, go for the beauty the true Hawaii. Hawaiians have been displaced by other races and all that is left is the sound of Hawaii. Noise and crowds and people who are disrespectful, it is hard for me and I cry for Hawaii. The sound has to be enough, close your eyes and the beauty of the islands will be there to see in the mind. I love my Islands and maybe some day I will be able to live out the last days of my life in love with the islands.

Blue Ninja yes, my uncle (married my moms twin sister) was a Hawaiian entertainer and his brother and he both sang and played the ukulele and other instruments, too. My uncle’s brother died yesterday; he was sought after all his life and played often at one of the resorts and my uncle on the mainland played for us after leaving his homeland. I was “made in Hawaii” and my older sister was born there (Oahu). I’m listening today in honor of my uncles brother Iaukea Bright.

Just grilled spam and pineapple sliders on Kings Hawaiian rolls for myself and a hotdog for my 2.5 year old daughter.... for fun I searched for Hawaiian music and found this and put it on.... she was quiet eating her hotdog and I could tell she was listening to the music, after a couple minutes she said, I think this music is really nice to relax to daddy... lol... I told her she was absolutely right

Hacía tiempo no escuchaba un video con tan bonita música. Cuando era niño escuché en algún lugar esta música, tal ves alguna imagen en algún lugar porque en mi pueblo no había radio ni televisores. Soñaba despierto con Hawai y su música triste como la de mi pueblo me hacía soñar que algún día iría a ese lugar, ahora tengo 72 años y solo me quedan los sueños de infancia.
