Your not the first guys to have this happen to. These are those hard learning experiences, that hopefully you will make the adjustments necessary to avoid this happening again!!! That's why surfing and bodysurfing my whole life, and growing up on the North Shore of Oahu really gave me the ability to read the water and understand it all. Don't feel bad brah. Just learn from these times and you will be better off over time. D.L.

It’s pretty clear he’s not experienced as you are like damn so many mistakes that could have gone wrong, having to watch another person like that during rough conditions while trying to watch after yourself at the same time is hard, props to you for teaching your friend,

At times your inexperienced friend there seemed too cocky lol even with the mistakes he was doing, especially muzzle awareness lol who knows mechanisms go wrong and that spear was aimed at you while trying to struggle with everything else, then just losing everything in the water because he tried to play it off like he knows what he doing, he definitely needs more training and basic diving etiquette as far as safety and how to jump in
