This duo always delivers! The stories, the laughs, the emotions, the passion are always on point. What an incredible and thoughtful dynamic duo they are as friends and Legends of this Art. Always making my Mondays full of stoke to carry me through the weeks ups and downs. And Vert Alert was an absolute party for the eyes and ears. Skateboarding is in very good hands thanks to all the Legends that laid the foundation for the future to build on. So shout out to Hawk, Wolf and all the Legends for continually motivating and pushing the next generation of skaters to be better and more stoked each and every day. And props to all the people behind the scenes that allow us at home and the events to be able to enjoy the craft we love so dearly skateboarding. As always loved the podcast and I can't wait for next weeks!

Sacramento state fair the guys said let's get loud and maybe pump tony up to do a 900. Everyone on the ramp and that skated it the crowd starts yelling at the announcer. Even on a windy day you guys killed it. Thank you David Loy for taking my board and getting Tony to sign it. It's still on my wall not eBay

When i was a kid I learned hospital flips by accident. Didn't know what it was called forever. Just try doing half a kickflip and bring it back over. Think of it as half a front foot impossible. It's way easier than you think Ellis!

I'm 44 and never have, or never will do a Madonna! I'd love to be able to at least plan to do one in a couple of months, so with all the respect Tony, please be patient with the comeback so you can be the best again. Safely😊 I'm out for good, so I'm struggling with losing what I love and never being able to skate again. Thank you, and Jason for doing this podcast. It's saving my sanity! And this Vert Alert was the best contest ever. Of all sports. Peace.

The duality of man: Jason is that guy that looks like a metal head, but let's you down because he hates most metal bands and Tony is that clean cut suburban dad that surprises you with his knowledge of hard-core punk and extreme metal from the 80s.

I love the Vert Alert but i wished Ellis wouldve been heard over the stream. Thats just a personal preference

i had a hard time watching this the first time. I came back from some pretty bad injuries and 3 surgeries then was injured again last winter in a car wreck and have had a really hard time riding again. It sucks because my kids were getting into it with me and we would go out and skate/bike around town every day and have a blast. Been doing as much physical therapy as i can so im really really hoping by next spring ill be able to at least do flat ground at a level im happy with.

Another great episode. Man I would give anything to get his signature on a couple of decks I got hanging on my wall.

And it sucks Tony I got crushed at work by 3000lbs of granite. I lost my left ankle bone completely blew up. Double lisfranc surgery with multiple screws holding my feet together! I had to completely give up skateboarding and it sucks. But I still hang with the skaters and am trying to bring my son into the world of skateboarding. The difference is you can be done and will always be a LEDGEND, now me I'm just know in my town hahahahaha.

Hospital flip is easy, half a Kickflip n kinda shuv with your front foot, casper similar except you flip it with back foot on the tail. You Got!
