I'm definitely leaning towards the first part of this, but I think if that's true them him being "Swordsman" would be a red herring, and hes rly just A swordsman. He might help train Kate with swords either way tho.

That scene between Kate and Yelena was so good, the intro with Yelena was good too and the confirmation of Kingpin was also a highlight. This was a cool episode. Can’t wait to see the finale next week.

yes!!! that makes sense i also think that maybe all the defenders and their adjacents were snapped and now theyre back but kinda gotta start from square one. Especially matt and co. cause it would literally bring them back to season 1 of kingpins level of power if not more. so that gives the mcu a great excuse to basically the stories over from scratch

I think that's what they'll say as to why Daredevil hasn't foiled his plans as Kingpin seems to have REALLY expanded his empire to the point where hes got access to Avengers tech.

The watch could very well belong to a certain defense lawyer who met Clint while he was the Ronin and disapproved of his methods but was still respected by Clint and whose secret identity Clint knew and who has a history with Fisk and would totally where a RED GLASS FACE rolex.

@@chandanv211 Yes, and it’s a tactile watch that he puts two fingers on to check the time. A tactile watch looks the same as any other watch. (Season 1, Episode 1, in the police station with Karen, is the first time he does it.)

What is daredevil blipped and kingpin didn’t and he used that time to recover his empire without daredevils interference. Now they can keep the history intact but explain why daredevil didn’t hamper anything for a while.

I mean we don't need to be hand held throughout everything. The avengers could've had a spokesperson come out and tell people that the black widow was one of the heroes that was killed fighting Thanos. They don't have to be specific.

i really really like this idea, but that would mean clint knows that jack is undercover but clint is also the one thats kind of exposing him right now. He was the one that called Laura to find info on sloan ltd and thats how clint knew that jack was involved. So that would imply that clint and laura didnt know jack was involved in the criminal underworld, but they DID know the importance of the watch. That wouldnt really match up, but i still love the concept

Those blip scenes make me think of what happen to people in certain kinds of situations. Like what if you blipped back exactly into a place where someone is occupying. And let’s say you were flying in an airplane and got dusted. Do you reappear in the plane or in the sky at the area where you were dusted? There’s a lot of peculiar details I’d like to really know. The blip scenes by far have been some of my favorite.

The wielder of the gauntlets/stones determines what happens. That’s how Thanos chose to snap 50% of the population, how the Hulk blips everyone back safely, and how Tony dusts Thanos and his army, specifically.

I think there's too much expectation of Jack. He's probably just meant to be just a Trevor Slattery type character who's just a figurehead red herring to hide the true villain. The only big reveal I expect about Jack was that he possibly used to be a Larper.

Hey so the cop that arrested Jack was the same cop that called Kate right ? The cop that Kate never went to see, which has never been followed up on even though it was included in the "previously on" recap for episode 4. That's kinda weird.

I desperately want Jon Bernthal to come back as Frank Castle, but having said that, I think it is a difficult proposition given how violent the character is. I'm just not sure how to work him in without losing all that made him great

I’ve been hearing rumors of a rated R section of Disney plus. Honestly, more adults have it then kids anyway. It’s time for more adult content.

You know... the BLIP changes everything. All of the Netflix series essentially ended BEFORE the blip and eventually EVERYONE in the MCU has to account for what they did during those 5 years. Did Daredevil blip? We can assume Kingpin was around but it looks like Ronin was Kingpins main adversary during the blip because possibly Daredevil wasn't around. I don't think they're variants, there is just a lot that can happen in 5 years that can change a person especially if your like Yelena who lost 5 years of your life.

Clint said that the tip for the tracksuit gang came from kingpin which to me confirms that he was active during the 5-year blip.

Crazy idea: since kingpin is now confirmed that could mean that daredevil is coming and a really cool way they can bring him in is to help Clint with his hearing showing him that he inst defined by his weaknesses but how he overcomes them

I wanted to point out that this other Widow or anyone didn't know yet that Natasha had sacrificed herself. Because that happened same day as Hulk bringing every one back (de blipping xd) so all the casualties are not known yet. :'(

i literally screamed when i saw kingpin at the end of the episode. i cant wait to see what they are going to do with daredevil and punisher in future movies and shows. and the possibility of having Phil back is amazing and seeing the paint changing after yelena came back from being blipped, was an awesome perspective of the changes that the person would experience when they blip back.

I hope we at least get foggy and Karen from the daredevil series. All the actors including Charlie cox just have really good on screen chemistry with each other and I honestly can’t see anyone else playing foggy now.

I'm beginning to think that Jack is trying to take down Kingpin from the inside. He's schmoozing up to Elanor, despite his uncle's warnings and misgivings, and is letting Elanor get away with what she's getting away with (including his uncle's murder) until he gets what he needs to attempt to take down Fisk. I think him wanting the sword of Ronin in the first place is that he might look up to him because he came the closest to take out Kingpin. Just food for thought!

I feel like nobody is talking about this, when Jack met Clint, he called him Archer, like Jack is Swordsman, maybe they do know each other, but they have like some sort of code to not give away the information. I also feel like Jack is too old to be an avenger, but, he could totally have a role of a trainer for the Young Avengers later on, recommended by Kate

The day Yelena blipped back … wouldn’t that have been the day (or so) that Natasha died? And, in the moment she’s sitting there talking to Anna is when the war at Avenger’s Compound is taking place.

I think that after the events of Civil War and Infinity War, the surviving Avengers would've vowed that they'd share all they know of Thanos and the events around the blip with the whole world. It would be unfair to keep the world in the dark as to what happened to their loved ones.
