I'm not really impressed with it for the price/video quality - although the weight is great. Still cheaper than upgrading all my DJI V1 gear to DJI V2/2 and O3 system. Maybe I'll go with something heavier like the Runcam Thumb-Pro-ND. Thanks for reviewing.

Great review!! I'm seeing two sided to this camera. Some reviewers show this as a "good but not great." I think the one thing that needs to be taken into consideration is the price point of this camera. For the price it preforms quite well. No GoPro, but more than adequate. Great review. You review are quite comprehensive and well presented.

Definitely not a GoPro killer... Rather ... { At first, I was not very flattering about this camera. Yes, it has a lower quality than GoPro, but its price is also significantly lower than GoPro! It will definitely find her customers. Everyone can get fpv equipment according to their capabilities }

They didn't take to nicely to my comments on there channel uploads about the dynamic range ect. Couldn't be more obvious with how they always mount the thing on a downward angle.

@@ductgoosefpv What I meant is that every time a new cheap camera appears, we hope that it will probably be better than the previous ones. And it's not even about the 4k clarity, the resolution of the optics, the matrix, but the processor. I would like to avoid this twitching of the image during fast movement, when there is not enough data transfer speed. But every time the manufacturers do about the same thing. Unfortunately.

Dynamic range isn't great. @4:38 you can see the sky is blown out and then you look up and the metering brings the ISO down and the detail for the sky and clouds emerges. But what do you expect from a camera in this price range. I'd be more interested to know if it's a true 4K camera, because I've owned a few of the earlier Hawkeye Firefly cams and they all seemed to digitally upscale lower resolution sensor footage i.e. false advertising.

You have to do this physically but reducing vibration either with a soft mount or by getting better balanced motors/props

I think that picture quality is quite similar. Form factor is diff of course.

Still runcam thumb pro better in quality, I saw somebody tested the AV out to analog VTX as primary camera, too bad it is like 0.04s or 25fps, flyable but not great. If they can boost the AV out to 60fps I will got for this and get rid of analog cam, it is like analog version of O3.
