I do love ONR been using it for several years now. It was great to meet you a few times at events like Detail fest. I do 90% of my Detailing with ONR. Having seen a couple cars over the years , I know this wasn't washed in 3 months, but most of my customers have cars that havent been washed in 1 month and are way dirtier, and ONR still does a fantastic job.

I've been doing mobile detailing and started exclusively doing interiors. Realizing I was leaving money on the table and was not getting some customers who wanted both, I started doing exteriors, with little experience outside of using a car wash. Having started with very little money, I spent about $300 on chemicals, a cheap but quality pressure washer, and an upgraded pressure washer hose. However I realized that my setup time at a job site was so much longer JUST based around the pressure washer. When running as a business, and considering I love extremely efficient systems, I went on a long journey into this whole realm. This system that you have right here is just immaculate. You just did an entire car in what it would take me to do 2 tires. I'm picking up a Ryobi 600 psi cordless power sprayer and going to use this EXACT method. My thinking is, if the pressure sprayer has it's bottles set up properly, I can do the pre-treatment with ONR and another bottle with APC for the tires, without having to even spend time or energy pumping it. Also I've been using wash mitts and I don't like the amount of energy output due to ergonomics, so the sponge seems perfectly built for a hand to grasp firmly and apply properly. Sorry for the book, just wanted to say Yvan is such a genius, big fan of yours and thank you again for the great content!

@@LolLol-uk2jc network network network. When you're first starting you're gonna have a lot of down time if you're not established, so use that time and hit the road and drop your business cards in real estate offices, someone you may see at a parking lot with a nice vehicle and never approach trying to sell them, simply make them aware you're the detailer in the area in case they ever need anything and that's it. Go the extra mile in making sure whatever customers you have you're doing the job right the first time, don't over book yourself so that you're not rushing things and very important, work on your own personal development, customer service and communication skills. You can be a great detailer, but if you look, talk and behave unprofessional, it's a big turn off for people and one of the main things my clients comment on is my customer service. What's funny is that I'm not a "YES MAN", I'm firm but I'm fair and I listen to their concerns. Post on your local neighborhood Facebook groups if allowed but don't be spammy, post on the Nextdoor App and every single time you finish a job, ask them to leave you a review if they're happy with the work and if not to let you know. Have a website and a Google page. A website can be a big selling point for some people, the right client will want to know about you before even considering you, so a website helps as a presentation before they decide to contact you. Gotta have money saved up to cover bills for 6 months just in case cause typically, unless you already have a strong supporting network, you're gonna have to struggle for that 1st year or longer. Most quit, but some of us see it as a marathon and keep at it. Be frugal with your spending, don't fall into the trap of buying every fancy chemical out there and stick to what's giving you results until you can afford to experiment with something else IF you feel like it could make you more efficient.

I've tried rinseless. It's okay but I seldom do it unless it's very cold. I prefer a cheap foamer attached to garden hose. No pressure washer. I do my entire car in twenty minutes or less. Although the amount of protection on my car reduces drying to a minimum. It almost dries itself.

I’m ready to launch my mobile business and seriously considering going completely rinseless. I think the low level of water required and not messing up folks’ lawns and driveways trying to eradicate a massive ‘snow storm’ created by foaming/pressure washing should be attractive to customers, as well as the noise abatement. I'm sold, just ordered ONR and a sponge, unfortunately the ultra black sponge is sold out. I was using the foam cannon and two bucket system and knicked my paint, somehow. Similar to a stone chip, so now I have to apply touchup. After sadness, I found this video. Time to try something new.

Hi, and thanks for a great video. I’ve seen something like this before when I watched Yvan at Pan T.O. and thought the video was an eye-opener. In your opinion: What would be the best washing process if you had a typically, dirty Norwegian/Swedish car in front of you? That car has asphalt stains, salt, road grime and iron-based contaminants. And all this kind of contamintions are almost like glued to the paint on a daily driven car in our countries during the winter-time. Here in Norway, a typical wash process in the winter would be something like this: · Koch Chemie Teerwasche A · Alkaline foam · Let it do it’s work and rinse · Wash the car with a two-bucket-method · Dry the car Any thoughts?

@HawkProDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
I think with an exceptionally dirty car that you might need to clay....it can still be done but you just need to factor in some kind of spray...whether your trigger finger lol, a dedicated punk sprayer....or an actual pressure washer, you'll just have a lot more "rinsing" to do. This method is great for a regular wash but with severe fallout you'll be using some kind of iron remover and clay so it's just a matter of dealing with that slurry. You could just heavily spray with rinseless and wipe off. Or have a few gallons of distilled water to flush panel if u don't have hose access

Great video! I just to make sure I'm doing this right. I've got a black pickup and washing once the weather gets warmer is a challenge to keep wet. Am I fine to pre spray the whole truck, come back through and completely rinseless wash the truck and then dry? Obviously between these steps the pre spray and rinseless is going to dry completely. Thank you!

I agree with everything and I’m a huge Rinseless fan, but I also like to foam from now n then. Ivan actually said, he foamed the wheels because the bubbles are agitating for him. So, if you use a good cleaning FOAMER soap, then as the Bubbles burst it’s adding new cleaning formula according to Yvan. I love Rinseless but never talk down to FOAMER either. It’s all preference.

Timely video! I was just re-watching some of these older videos with Yvan then a new one pops up the next morning! Recently saw a video of two employees at a detail shop wash a car that supposedly took 30 minutes. A rinseless wash in my garage takes the same amount of time and doesn't take two people. Two of me could easily do the job in 10 minutes. Crazy question... Say I used my iron remover as my clay lubricant. Would it be a terrible idea to buff off the iron remover with car wax?

@ 14:14 I thought the water beads were showing some sort of ceramic coat that the rinseless wash coats the paint with for extra protection? I didn't think that was dirt bubbles as he said. I noticed my new car has lots of beading and I don't want to destroy that film with cheap soap.

Would drying a panel at a time be considered safer? I know there's no harm letting the rinseless solution dry on a panel, but couldn't it leave some dirt on the surface and then you don't have enough lubrication and encapsulation to safely remove it?
@greatestNothin
@greatestNothin 2 жыл бұрын
As long as the dirt was hit with either the presoak or the sponge applying the RW the dirt should be encapsulated. The drying aid will help as well but isn't necessary. Of course you could lightly mist with the RW solution before drying if it's in direct sunlight or the panel is heated for whatever reason.

What I do is pre rinse with solution, then wash entire car. Then respray panel with onr solution as I dry. I do this in 85 degree weather in the sun with no issue with water spots
