What a gorgeous hen, hoping the flosser and self-adhere wrap ends up helping her wing heal up nice and well. Had to give this video a peek after your kind reply from a previous video I'd mentioned looking for solutions for Archie. A pity the sock configurations didn't work too well for her, too. But with how much Archie patrols the yard (and shows how big and tough he is to other birds 😉trying to get into "his" crate I keep him in overnight) and marches through the weeds that have shot up this monsoon as a means of cover, it doesn't look like a sock will stay on for him either. More likely going to be a great way to get tangled up in those weeds or caught on something in the crate. I'll be sure to keep digging and see what I can manage for him on top of continuing to monitor this feathery friend. Appreciate the time you took to respond to my last comment. Hate this time of year for hawks. I get some reprieve from April through August. They’re never completely gone but they leave the birds alone during that time. Hope your broken wing bird gets better.

Even if they make a full recovery, they’ll never fly the same. When fully healed, their broken wing becomes a bit stiff. They can still fly up to trees and roof tops but that’s about it. I’ve owned a few pigeons in the past with broken wings.
