Sometimes things are just hard-wired into our brains. I refused to use a fire attack that could have won me a game on an Armarouge even though I saw with my own eyes that it had Weak Armor.

Haxorus my absolute favorite dragon has always been mid Speed tier- mid Attack - outclassed by Chomp Wish it got a speed boost or signature move Also why is his BST so low Could have had two pseudos in Hydriegon and Hax

@@skullguy4863 well it's speed boost and attack boost was dragon dance. I always paired it with swords dance too. Then sweep people with outrage haha. But I do agree, it needed a signature move.

I'm so used to play around the opponent's abilities that I forget EVERYTIME that mold breaker also goes through levitate, earth eater, unaware and magic bounce and not just wonder guard lmao Great video though, Haxorus is my second favorite dragon type and definitely in my top 10, glad to see him getting some love

0:43 unless haxorus is a ground type, it's unreasonable to use earthquake, because electric would do more damage due to stab

@@RivalNatty oh, i didn't understand that then, because stab tera blast stops being special once you get more attack, did it take this change into consideration? Because earthquake has 100 BP and electric stab has 120 since tera blast is 80 Thanks for the clarification

Why is haxorus so underused? It has one of highest attack stats in the game... I had a lot of fun with it in revelationmons with STAB dragon first impression

Unfortunately, in the last few generations of the meta, it's too slow and frail, and the lack of a good secondary typing holds it back, as Dragon STAB only hasn't been good since the introduction of Fairy type.

4:40 well Mold Breaker should ignore Earth Eater too isn't it ? Mold Breaker says "The opponent's ability is ignored" or something like that. You go through Unaware and Levitate. Why does Earth Eater is different ? In my opinion Earthquake would have worked.

I am actually playing Ag with emboar(reckless), zygarde(50% with power construct), urshifu-rapid stike, glimmora, Hawlucha (mold breaker and defog) and metagross(clear body) One answer: if somebody uses defog in my metagross, it will defog the spikes, the rocks, or metagross isn't affected by defog?

Clear body only prevents the stat lowering part so I believe it will still clear the hazards. I've seen a video where someone used spicy extract, a move that lowers a stat(I forgot which one) but raises the attack stat by 2 stages on his ally clear body dragapult. The spicy extract didn't lower the stat and only boosted the attack stat. Also please put a punching glove on that rapid-strike

I use a similar strategy but I have Tera fire on Haxoris, as it lets me get a dragon dance of on fairy types. But I can see electric being good to get through those bulky water types. As long as dondozo doesn’t have curse outrage will 2 shot it after a dragon dance.

I won a random battles game using outrage on a Tera ghost mimikyu with haxorus and hitting it through its disguise due to mold breaker. First time I’ve ever reverse swept with haxorus and probably the only time haxorus would ever win that 1v1 with mimikyu
