Hay Day Kitchen: Ice Cream 2 Ways - Mint & Strawberry! 🍓🍧🍃

Nothing makes a nice sunny day better than ice cream straight out of the freezer! This episode we’re making two different Hay Day flavored Ice Creams: Mint, with a little chocolate chip twist, and Strawberry!
We’ve put together a super simple recipe and a video, so you can follow along step-by-step.
Go ahead, give it a try!
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Heavy cream
• 1 can (1 1/3 cups) Sweetened condensed milk
• 2-3 drops Peppermint flavored extract
• 1-2 drops Green Food coloring (pea size amount)
• 1 cup Chocolate chips
• 4 tbsp Strawberry jam
• Prep time: 6h
• Servings: 4 - 6 portions
• Equipment: Measuring cups and spoons, hand mixer, food containers or ice cream jars, spatula, bowl
Method:
• Add heavy cream to a large mixing bowl and whip until stiff. Should take about 3 minutes with a hand mixer.
• Add the condensed milk. Mix in for about 1 minute.
• Divide the whipped mixture, putting half in another container.
Mint Chocolate Chip Flavored Ice Cream
• Add the peppermint flavor extract and green food coloring to one half of the whipped mixture and mix. Add an extra drop of green coloring, if needed.
• Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
• Pour into a food container.
• Freeze for at least 6 hours.
Strawberry Flavored Ice Cream
• Take the other half of the whipped mix and pour half of that into a container.
• Add strawberry jam, then pour in the remaining half of the whipped mix (this concentrates the strawberries toward the middle of the dish).
• Swirl the jam with a small spoon.
• Freeze for at least 6 hours.
Try it in a waffle cone or regular old bowl. Or eat it right out of the container. We don’t mind. This is your ice cream now!
