I understand that the new UI is very different to what we are used to. As humans we hate change but change is inevitable. I ask that you give it two weeks of playing the game before you complain about how much you hate the UI. It will take some getting used to but I think we all will adapt. I also think the new UI means that some really awesome QoL improvements could be coming to the game so think about how great that would be. I would also appreciate it if you keep the comments that you write on my video respectful. I am not Hay Day. I have ZERO control over how the game looks but as I am an official content creator I do have the ability to pass on feedback to the team. So constructive feedback is always great but "this update sucks I quit" and attacking me personally for things I have no control over does nothing but make me feel like crap for things I can't change. It now takes two presses to go through each item to check the qty. I liked it better when I could hold the press instead of waiting for it to go away or clicking again to make it disappear.

The new interface doesn’t work if you use your left hand to make selections. With the items needed to produce something being vertical,just to the left of the icon, you can’t see them since the rest of your hand blocks the items.

Hayday should have a way to move the land trees without chopping them

So much good stuff in this update… BUT … I can’t get used to the new design … not at all… it looks so small child-friendly, especially the cash and Home Icon on the left side.

Overwhelmed, wow! Amazing update and so excited to try everything out. Thank you for all your hard work getting the update info to us. Drooling over you opening up all that land at once, wow. Thanks for the video. I have to say, there is one feature that is frustrating. The pop up in production items, when you tap on one it covers all the others and you have to wait for it to disappear before you can move on to look at another item. It slows things down considerably and takes a long time to go through your production items. It would be nice if it popped up off to the side so you can move on to each item at your own pace instead of waiting for it to disappear. Any troubleshooting for this? Or hopefully they will fix this.

Great video thanks Gizmo. I'm not crazy about the new UI. Just feel that the old one worked fine. Maybe it will grow on me I don't know. I see a lot of players not very happy about the new UI though.

hay day update there is land expansion but you have to use an expansion permit, there should be an expansion without using an expansion permit so the land can be cleared quickly

About time you get access to Dev Build! CoC content creators always use Dev Builds for update showcases for the longest time. Its nice to see it in Hay Day! I feel the same way about the UI but it's already growing on me. I've been just now grinding hard for land permits and I am both angry and excited about the 530 extra permits I will need for the new land lol A really big update and im glad they are finally adding QoL features. Can't wait for the Egg Machine! Great Video!

When I press on an item to see how many I have, the font for the qty is too small. It is hard to read and my finger covers it. 😢

Why does the new user interface look like it belongs on a toddler’s toy?

All these updates yet they can’t make it so we can buy stuff from the shop while in layout mode 🙃

The land permits need to come and those scrolls its takes so long to get them I haven't been able to get it from the last time and machines wow they are way to expensive

Honestly its nice that the new animals are coming, but the displays are big and take up a lot of space on the screen.

Very nice summery of the update. Good work Jennifer! I agree that this is a “huge” update, but there is so much repetition of expected things such as new machines, new trees, new animals etc, but what else is there in Hay Day?! I would have loved to see a completely new “land”, or updating neglected areas such as the fishing and the town. I welcome the new land opening. Like you, I already opened all my lands a while ago, and without this challenge the game felt stalling. And another thing: why none of the Hay Day birds fly?? Even peacocks fly a short distance over low fences for example. All birds are tiny (especially the parrots) and completely disappear walking and walking through the vast lands of Hay Day. I can hardly find them! But what really drives me nuts is the fact that developers use the same decorations over and over. This is lack of creativity and pure laziness as far as I am concerned.

I'm sure I'll get used to the new UI. 🙂

HATE THE NEW UPDATE!! Was promised diamonds for updating….never got them. Also the new update sucks for lefties. I’m in my mid 30s and feel like I need glasses just to see the mini ingredient requirements (I play on my iPhone 11 Pro Max) and my left hand blocks everything unlike before. ALSO sad to see even HAY DAY sell out to Ads. You seriously expect me to watch a 15sec-1 min to get 5 seconds off of my 2 hr cake?? 🤡

I loved Hay Day, but at this point, I will be quitting l, I have a life and I will not jeopardize anything to change that. Soon as I have spent all coins & diamonds I will be leaving for good. Hi Gizmo, I love many things about the new upgrade but I wish my in-game friends names were in a darker print. Before the upgrade, I was able to tap on items that I didn’t own in the collection book. It would show the name and color of the item. Since the update, this feature doesn’t work for me. Is it just my game or was this an intended deletion with the new update? Also, would it be possible to make animal houses able to face north, south, east and west instead of just 2 directions? This would give players more options in how they design their farm. Thank you.

Always love updates. Do not like the way everything is now on the screen like the friends bar and news posts buttons. Every time I go to move around my farm I end up pressing them by mistake and they just all take up so much room now. But so far everything else seems great. Just the overall buttons on the screen when playing they just to big and draw a lot of attention to them when trying to do something else

I like the new update for Hay Day I have been unable to use the movie ticket. I am always purchasing different things on Hay Day so why am I having so many issues.

I have been playing this game for yrs I personally now think it look more like playing a children’s game also why open more land when you have made it so hard to even open all the land we already had to open at least make it easier to get the bits needed to open the land goin to take yrs to open the new lot

The update reversed much of my progress in the game by adding back all the lands I had already cleared. Instead, The game needed to add more and easier ways to get permits. I’m done with playing the game.

Disgusting update, bad interface.

Im sorry but this update is the worst ever! I will not even talk about the childish graphics that are NOT suited for this game audience and age demographic, but the game play itself is impossible. The pop up in production items is the worst thing I have seen and it needs to changed like yesterday. The dragging to the area, if you missing an item, across your whole farm is infuriating! If they dont change at least these two things asap they will see a massive drop in users, as they should! If you have any, and I mean any influence on how they will approach these problems, please do so! I have been across all social media and majority hates it! They must know this is unacceptable!
