My heart is full of happiness listening to Josh in the interviews for the new album! He is happy!! He has had time to express and use his creative brilliant talent and vision in the cinematic development of The Battle At Garden's Gate. He never ceases to Amaze!

Remember when he said he would never put their music to one of his films? I guess he found a way to get over that hurdle. Now he's not just living Jake's dream before he pursues his own. They're doing it together and it's going to be magical!

I believe what you're looking for is authentic which most human beings are not which is why they go around virtue signaling for this or for that so that they can fit in. When you're comfortable in your own skit being who You are your own personal light will shine through that is the story of Josh and his brothers and Danny.

He reminds me of a friend of mine who is sweetly crazy. None of her thoughts have an actual beginning, middle, and end that relate to each other, though the fragments themselves make sense. I don’t quite get his thought process yet.

I've seen them 4 times and the second time seeing them was at DC9 for $12. That show was amazing because the capacity is sub 250 people!
@kindking80093 жыл бұрын
Wow, that must've been really early on. Lucky you! I've seen them 4x as well and definitely prefer the smaller GA venues. The last one I went to was a large, seated venue. I was halfway back and it just wasn't the same. Like the energy gets lost that far back. At the GA shows I was in line EARLY! Still didn't make barricade, but was in row 3-4, right in front of Josh or Jake. I want to see them succeed, but still want to be able to see them at smaller venues, too.

I just found this band (And Loved it). Janis Jonis returned in Klaus body (from Umbrela Academy).
@thomasmueller14183 жыл бұрын
As a teenager in the 60s, I can certainly verify the influence of Janis on GvF. These young men, and their family, are musicians with a very deep understanding of their musical heritage. Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, the Blues artist, John Denver to name a few that they have cited in interviews. In my opinion, this quartet of extremely talented musicians, is bridging the chasm of classic 60's, 70's and early 80's rock, with the new tomorrow of their generation. And beyond - like Josh talked about relative the new album, this is dream-like, ethereal music. And, I dare say, expressive of the quantum physics that is now the bedrock of technology and, our culture. Keep it going guys, you're on a "Magical Mystery Tour" (or "...Carpet Ride", depending on your choice of bands....). ☮️🙏 ,

I find the band to be stylistic of the 60/70's, they all seem grounded (down to earth), amazing singer, multi-vocal. he is a talker, I see the jokes about the no shoes thing, I think they just haven't found a pair of shoes that works

I wonder would they be okay with having black fans? I get so much shit for loving Rock music, but it's okay for Adele and Bonnie Rait to sing and love R & B and Blues, and it's okay for white girls to love rap huh?😠
@Earlyalexbadstandup3 жыл бұрын
They don't care about what the hell anybody is. A human is a human and they love everyone of their fans equally. They consistently talk about thier love of their diverse fans. At the root of all things, you're the only you in existence, the true minority is the individual, and if you like something, doesn't mean its right or wrong. You live your life to you're own standards, not anyone else's.
@srizzo42133 жыл бұрын
I can't answer for them but I suppose they would like it, since they are always mentioning many black musicians as reference. I particularly think it's so great! All you said is truth, unfortunately. But rock n roll is rooted in black culture. This place belongs to you.
