I think he's that guy who has to settle for her after she flushed away her best years with bad choices for her in regards to partner selection. She really still wants her first proper boyfriend back in Josh Farro hence why she's soo obsessed with slandering him. She's showing that all the studies with oxytocin and number of partners study to be very credible. These girls always remember their first/first couple of partners and will always compare you to them and never truly give you what you deserve no matter what you do for them. I feel for Taylor!

"Gays are the best and can do no wrong!" would be dogma, especially that last bit. But simply being against those who hate and/or would seek to persecute gays isn't. Gays exist, it isn't inherently harmful in any way whatsoever (if anything there is a net benefit; it evolves as a trait in so many species - including ours - for a reason), seeking to hide or destroy it is irrational and stupid; may as well get angry about water being wet. It is not dogmatic to be against irrationality and stupidity. It's common sense.

I personally have no animosity towards the LGBTQ+ community and consider myself more on the ally side but just like with everything I can understand why people have opposing views. Just like in all communities bad eggs and agenda's being pushed too heavily spoil the initial purpose and ruin it for the majority. With that said I find that the LGBTQ+ community is used as a pawn by media and industries including music to get a passionate and devoted fanbase that will consume what they are selling and push it onto others. This is why musical products like YungBlud etc will mask themselves as members of such community so that they can establish a dedicated backing that will push them into the mainstream with minimal to no actual care for the community and will pander instead of taking level headed approaches to things. It wouldn't surprise my that just like Billie Eillish, Hayley is a closeted member of the LGBTQ+ community and if things don't workout with Taylor York that she will out herself eventually.

I think the real problem is the artist down talking the fan for liking their past songs just because it was written by a member of a band that she no longer likes. It is pretty pathetic she thinks she gets to talk to the people who support her music that way. She just complains and doesn't actually do anything to help any of the issues she complains about. Also was he really all these words that you're way too comfortable throwing around, or was he just religious and had beliefs that he lived by? Did he say offensive words or things against people or did he just express that he had religious beliefs? You don't care about the actual issues at hand, you just care about virtue signaling.

Amen! She is bitter because the 2 guys she really liked out of all those she has dated, didn't workout with her. The Divorce with Chad really was the final straw from what I've seen in the past several years with her attitude and mentality. I listen to way more of their new stuff if I’m being honest. I think Riot might be my least favorite album by them which I know is crazy but after learning everything about the bands timeline and mental states during each album I became more attached to AL and TIW especially. I also listen to Hayley’s solo stuff because of her emotional state at the time. It’s all so much more personal than Riot. Also Zach Farro and Taylor York are much better than they used to be, (At writing and playing), Hayley’s voice has only gotten better, and the band is much more positive towards each other which produces better songs.

It’s a bad beat, seeing old ex-band members not getting along with the current band members. It’s not new, but it is what it is. I can’t say Josh is homophobic because I don’t know him personally. What I know is, he wrote iconic Paramore songs, and I respect him as a musician. I don’t know Hayley personally too. There some things I don’t agree with her, but I’m not going to hate her. She will always be one of my favorite singers, lyricists, and artists. It’s sad no one doesn’t want to have civil conversations anymore. This is why critical thinking is important. Also, ask hard questions. Why do we have different opinions and perspectives? How can we love one another when we have a disagreement? What is the purpose of human compassion? I pray to God both of them can solve their past problems. The fanbase will never know when both of them are going to reconcile. Don’t know if the guy is homophonic or not, but she says all this shit about the guy, he wrote a lot of their older stuff if what I heard/read is correct, she continues to play it live, gets paid for it, and I’d imagine she gets a nice chunk of royalties too. Anyone else find that hilarious? I get it’s “Paramore’s music” but if he had a hand in writing it and she genuinely felt that way, wouldn’t she disregard anything he’s had a hand in?

I agree, but she didn’t even really feed into any drama, she outright created drama where there wasn’t any. The guy’s been not only out of the band but out of the public eye for over a decade at this point. Yeah, she has become immensely woke and in my personal opinion, a shell of her former self if you happen to look at videos of her from years ago. She seemed like such a a sweetheart. That doesn’t seem to be the case now. I think maybe her getting out of the public eye, marrying and starting a family with Taylor York would keep her more grounded and allow her to have some self-reflection. He’s currently battling a rare form of cancer and has been remarried for nearly four years with a soon to be three-year old daughter too. Cheating is never okay but he’ll have to atone for his sins with God once he’s dead and gone. We don’t know the full story of what happened between them, only her side. Something must’ve happened that led to him cheating and the dissolution of their marriage. 👍🏻

I used to be such a huge fan of Hayley. Even though I didn’t like the new direction of the music, I never thought I wouldn’t like her as well. She did a 180.
