I think Spurs players are pro athletes and are ultimately working for the club, have ambitions, have pride, they like challenges and want to be seen specially before Euro/Copa America and potentially for a transfer to a better club. So as much as supporters wants them to lose, players don't understand this as deeply and they want Champions League next season. In September which Spurs players will remember City or Arsenal winning? Players wants to hear the CL Anthem. So i think they will go for it :D

Good on Ange. I am an Arsenal fan but this is why he endears himself to the majority of people, a strange portion of Spurs fans aside. Most of them probably don't even remember when we won the league at White Hart Lane - nothing can be worse than that, and Spurs still have skin in the game in that they can make the CL place.

Got to be honest I am 64 and this morning wanted Spurs to throw it. Years of hate and probably jealousy have turned me into a bitter Spurs fan . I started watching this video with that attitude and for a second thought this guy is still a naive football outsider. By the end it made me sit back and think . I know what tirade of mocking will ensue if Arsenal win the PL but CL place must surely be our priority. Nice one Ange. Reminds me of the pre season match against them when Saka came on after his penalty miss for England . All Arsenal fans expected us to taunt him . Instead the Spurs fans applauded him for his bravery and a future England great . That was a special moment between the two clubs. Didnt last long but was good.

Ange is hilarious! I really hope he has a long run at Spurs and challenges the fans to get out of their banter mindset and expect great things from their team. Yes, I am a Gooner, but have some Spurs friends from London...so, I don't hate them even though I understand the historical nature of the rivalry. I played for decades and do not understand anything other than trying to win every game, so I totally agree with Ange on that. Could Spurs be on the verge here of becoming a fully-authentic unabridged football team? One of the 'big boys' finally - a real contender? A top four fighter, both challenging in Europe and truly ambitious for the league? Or will they just dream of the beaches now, and wing this statement (potentially Champion's League providing) football game knowing that at least Arsenal cannot now win the league if, as expected by so many, Spurs ultimately just totter and fall.

I have never been envious of TOTTENHAM before but Ange is changing my opinion. What a manager and he might win a trophy. That attitude is something spurs have never had.

If Spurs lose, City will still not be champions unless they beat West Ham. Spurs should be professional and try to beat City, especially if Villa lose to Liverpool, then the UCL is up for grabs.

City have been there many times, they know the season isn't over until the final ball is kicked, on the final day ..... they don't often show nerves, if ever, and will just take each match as it comes.

There's a huge financial incentive for spurs to win their last 2 games and get UCL instead of Europa. I have to imagine the stakeholders in Tottenham are far more interested in the increase in revenue and transfer resources that would come from that vs. "screwing over Arsenal." Sure if villa get a second wind and beat liverpool today then that chance is gone. But villa look gassed and have to play a flying Crystal Palace team on the last day. Could be plenty to play for tomorrow.
