Wanted to make an update on a pinned comment With the NEW super mario movie out in theaters it's obviously clear this was 1000 times better then the Bob hoskin as it recently made 1.2 billion dollars in box office I loved this movie and I hope a sequel gets made and this officially broke the video game movie curse like sonic and Detective Pikachu movies did so there's hope for video game adaptations of being good. So freddy fazbear will have his time to shine on the big screen.

I honestly never think that the new Mario movie will be bad. Since Miyamoto’s involved with the project, and that Charles Martinet himself said that the movie was a fun watch, then I have high hopes that it’ll do just fine! If Miyamoto wasn’t involved at all, then the movie definitely would’ve bombed, honestly. And let’s not forget, Nintendo and Universal had made a theme park in Universal Studios Japan, and everything there looks very true to the source material, so why wouldn’t they get everything right for Illumination’s animated movie, huh? I mean, so far, what they got correct is the question mark block in that casting poster. If it’s not good enough proof to people that the designs will be exactly the same as the games, then I guess we’ll just have to rely on a trailer (whenever the crap it’s going to finally release). That’s my thoughts on how the upcoming Mario movie would do. If you disagree with me on this whole thing, then that’s okay. Everybody has their own thoughts and opinions, and we can’t agree on everything. Btw, funny video, Hazah! Love the editing!

Honestly, I think that the Illumination Mario movie has a chance of being good. I’m still skeptical, but I’m trying to wait until the trailer comes out before I give final judgment.

I think that the upcoming mario movie would at least be alright for the most part. I'm just a little worried about character designs. But if miamoto is working closely with illumination, then that would at least give me hope.

Hate me if you want but I saw that old live action Mario bros Movie and I liked it. But I am familiar with the old mario shows like The Super Mario bros super show and Mario bros 3 since I was born in the early 2000's. Also I hoped you enjoyed your break.

For me, I have high hopes for the upcoming Mario Bros animated movie to be good and I don't mind the actors to be voiced as the characters (I love Chris Pratt and Jack Black) and Charles Martinet has been voicing characters for many years and let them do their voice roles for this time

I know that the same reaction I had when super mario movie was delay and change to April instead of Christmas

The reason why the New Mario Movie decided to delay the release date until next year is that because the lack of Italian accent coming from Chris Pratt trying hard to voiced Mario, plus this could be the result of insulting an Italian people if Pratt wasn't that professional like this.

To be completely honest with you, I’m also a bit skeptical about the upcoming Mario movie that is being made by Nintendo and the illumination company. I just hope they don’t screw it up like what they did with the Bob Hoskins Mario movie. It was a very good thing that I was not born during that time. You know, since I am a 2000s kid. But I just hope that they don’t screw up with this new Mario movie. And even if it isn’t the best movie, I just hope that it is really funny. That’s all I look for in the most movies. I am still excited for the new Mario movie, even if Charles is not gonna in it the whole entire movie, I mean, Martinet is I think 66, so yeah, I think it’s way more important to have a younger actor instead of an older actor, do I understand that people are pissed that Charles is not gonna be in it a lot, but come on, saying it’s gonna be way worse than the live action, how is that possible, like prove it, just show that facts. I mean yeah the live action is bad but I do actually like it because it’s fun for me (please do not hate me guys) but saying the new cartoon one is gonna be worse, that is just wrong to me, and I 100% agree with you, I am not worried about the actors or actresses, I am more worried if the model or animation is gonna be bad or maybe even cheesier, besides Charles is in his 60’s, so his health is more important than being the whole movie (for me), but yeah, I understand that fans are not happy but I mean come on, are we just happy that they are gonna make another one, so let’s be positive about that, alright. Not gonna lie, I have a soft spot for the live action movie and The Super Mario bros Super show.

The 1993 movie is something I watch a lot now because I actually like laughing at how bad it is. In my opinion this movie is so bad it’s good and if it makes me laugh I guess it’s ok-
