Doing a rehab all by yourself, especially after a surgery is definitely going to be different from having a physio around you who better understands how to work around and through your limits, as you heal. There is a reason why physios are essentially a part of an athlete's success. I'm an Arsenal fan, and I don't necessarily like him, but I won't be dishonest or disrespectful either.

I knew that something really serious happened to him because it made no sense how all of a sudden he dropped massively. As he didn’t recover properly from that injury, he accumulated another one of top of it, which caused end career injury for him. I hated how everyone was talking shit about him for no reason and saying that Hazard’s never been good and so on, when we all have him play for Chelsea and Belgium for almost 10 years as one of the best players of his generation😂 The man gave Salah no chance for his position and we all know how good Salah is, while Hazard was better overall.

If you know football, you know he’s speaking the truth here. Hazard didn’t have weight or training problems and such things his whole career. From that ankle injury something clearly happened to him because he wasn’t the same player and no where near in a matter of a few months. No player drops that huge unless a terrible injury on their body occurs, which is what happen to Hazard that he didn’t know how to recover properly, which made him accumulate quickly another injury that was more severe

There's plenty of footballers (the vast majority actually) who didn't have 10% of his talent but worked hard and stayed consistent at their level, i.e. Joe Cole etc. I'll say it again: Ramos and Modric during that covid time were livestreaming high intensity home workouts and staying fit. He was just lazy and threw away a gift that any of us would have loved to have. Hell, even at our normal jobs, you and I work harder than he ever did, and we make less in our entire careers than he made in 6 months eating cheeseburgers and sitting around not training.

Madrid was, is and will be the greatest club in the world, regardless of any situation. Their GOAT leaves, and they still can win the UCL, and they will continue to do so in the future. Hazard has no impact on that. He was lazy, but he was a mesmerizing player while being lazy like you say. So definitely, being lazy never stopped him from being great. Injuries have the potential to change the trajectory of an athlete's career, and having to do a rehab all by himself after having a surgery must be very difficult, especially since he wouldn't exactly know when to do more and what level of intensity is safe to avoid a relapse. Let's cut these professionals some slack. They push their bodies to the extreme a lot of the time, and sometimes, the body simply can't take it.

Your comment is another proof that fans are the most insensitive parties in sports. It's not like Hazard didn't display greatness at some point in his career, but you find it reasonable to say he is making excuses, yet you have never been in his shoes in terms of efforts, or accomplishments.
