The music wasn't made by viv. It was originally a fan song before Spindle horse made it into a music video. He did die because drug overdose. The name of this drug "Angel Dust".

I'm very confused because angel dust was the one who died of an overdose it was a Canon event in the show and I'm pretty sure vaggie wasn't even a human she was a natural angel who is also an exorcist at one point now she's a fallen angel if this is an alternate universe then that explains it
