Razzle and Dazzle were dolls that Lucifer brought to life so Charlie would have friends, and protectors, because from what I heard about them, you really don’t want to mess with them, or Charlie while they’re around.

about the Lucifer vs Alastor thing, Lucifer is far more powerful then Alastor and could probably kill him easily but lucifer is so top-powerful that he really has nothing left to prove and the only thing he really wants is Charile to like him and if he killed Alastor now she might never forgive him. also, lucifer might actually enjoy being challenged for a change instead of being feared all the time, might get boring after sometime.

Also, Lucifer doesn't look like a natural born killer, as powerful as he may be. Probably doesn't resort first to violence and murder - even more as he points the inherent violence of sinners as a bad thing.

I love your discussions in these videos! As a mythology/religious history nerd myself, shows like this fascinate me because it really does challenge you to look at things differently. One note: in hazbin lucifer didn't start a rebellion in heaven nor He sought to overcome god. He was an archangel with good intentions towards heaven and earth, but all the other Angels saw him as an threat to their absolute order, so they casted him to hell

I dont get why the whole comment section thinks Lilith sent Alastor to take care of Charlie when he literally saw her singing about the happy hotel on tv, then enjoyed the chaos it erupted into. He literally said when he arrived that hes doing it for his own gain. "Consider it an ongoing investment for myself"

Well it's very possible that was merely a front to appease their suspicion. Alastor's motives have been completely mysterious, so no one really knows but him.

Well we now know he’s owned by SOMEone. He appears directly after Charlie asks Lilith for help. He’s very accommodating of all of Charlie’s requests despite being a famous deal maker, and happened to disappear 7 years ago along with Lilith. My guess is he’s owned by Lilith but may try to get a deal with Charlie and use her as leverage to get free. Plus he’s not stupid, why wouldn’t he lie about his motives and make it seem like he’s doing it willingly when he actually has no choice

Looks like Charlie found a clone of herself in heaven, Alastor apparently has a contract with someone given the fact that he's also on the leash. Angels, demons not sinners actually know what gets someone in heaven nor hell, their job is basically to be welcoming or hostile on newcomers. songs are a banger but the pacing is too fast. They should have got more episodes in season 1

на данный момент это наиболее вероятная теория. Мы мало что знаем о Лилит, но я думаю, что если Аластор действительно у нее на поводке, то он приближается к Чарли, чтобы обманом заставить ее заключить сделку, а затем использовать ее, чтобы избавиться от Лилит. по крайней мере, это моя теория

Correction: Charlie is over 200 years old. Granted, that would still make her a relatively recent aspect of Lilith and Lucifer’s relationship given they’ve been together since the beginning of humanity, but Charlie’s not by any means a baby or anything. Which really just makes Lilith suddenly disappearing even more bizarre. As for Lilith taking Charlie away from Lucifer in the flashback, I honestly just assumed it was because baby Charlie was probably supposed to be in bed. She definitely looks like she’s wearing a nightgown to me, and like she was trying to be sneaky entering Dad’s workshop. Apple Daddy Lucifer just gave her a bit of inspiration before sending her off to have sweet dreams like a good and loving dad should. Look, I love our silly, depressed short king and I’m so happy we got to meet him, and “More Than Anything” makes me tear up every time. Great watching your commentary 😁

My theory is that Alistor, after losing the battle with Vox [bc in episode 2 Valentino said Alistor "almost beat him (Vox)" 7 years ago], made a deal with Lilith to gain more power (or he possible made that deal when he GOT to hell, making him strong and powerful enough to have his reputation). It might be a contract similar to the one he has with Husker, and he's been helping Lilith behind the scenes with something big. I believe that's the main reason he went to Charlie is because Lilith sent him. His animosity to Lucifer could be after hearing things second hand from Lilith and wanting to be a petty bitch. It was said in the first episode story that Lilith thrived and empowered her people in hell. She might be gearing towards a war. She might not. I can't wait to find out 😁

I doubt Vox won whatever confrontation they had. At least in the way you imply. What I think happened was that Vox and Alastor were on equal standing or Alastor was winning, and Alastor just up and left the battle, maybe out of boredom, or maybe that was the start of the 7 year absence. This would wound Vox's ego a LOT and explain his severe hatred. Vox coming out on top would not explain his deep hatred too well. But Alastor obviously didn't win as Valentino implied. So I think this explanation works better.

the problems between lilith and lucifer didnt seem to happen until charlie was much older. you can see in lucifer's workshop,there are pictures of him,lilith and charlie on the wall and charlie looks like a teen. in the song,lilith was most likely taking charlie to bed. my guess is that charlie would get out of bed and go see her dad in his workshop. lilith would of course have to come in and take her back to her room. also notice that charlie seems to be wearing a night gown.

The moment that caught my breath in this episode was Charlie singing More than Anything when she looks to her friends, we seem to hold on Angel's expression the longest as the music swells. It's a look of astonishment and wonder. Like he's enthralled by her commitment to save his soul. This seems to be backed up by the next episode when Charlie defends him specifically of not deserving his fate, since she knew he faces the worst torture.

Alastor wasn't necessarily messing with the occult while he was alive. You're basing that on the mistaken impression that Mimzy is Mammon, which she isn't. Mimzy is a regular sinner, who might be associated with Mammon or might be using Mammon's symbols as a fashion thing.

K, so, Lucifer didn't try & stage an uprising, not in this story anyways. Lilith was the one that tried to start an uprising against Heaven, which is why the Exterminations began.

I love this show and Lucifer kind of reminds me just a little bit of my dad, if mine was less of a joker and a little more desperate. This hit pretty close to home, especially with Alastor and Lucifer (my mom's boyfriend and my dad) competing for who deserves my favor the most. Thankfully, though, that's all done with now. It seems the first 2 minutes of episode one wasn't fiction and the only thing Lucifer did "bad" was give Eve the apple and grant humanity free will. So really for all intense and purposes he's still of the mind set and personality of an angle. So when you think about he's surrounded by all these evil people, his wife left him, and he believed his daughter wanted nothing to do with him, no wonder he has depression

I know im a lil late but I have theory about Alastor being on a leash I don't think husk literally means Alastor being someone else "pet" (i cant find the right word) i think Husk notices how Alastor changed thus being leash to her since meeting charlie(fck my english skill)...Nah this is just me being bias I just really don't like the idea Alastor being someone else property...
