I think its very telling how the Angels react to Charlie cursing but no one bats an eye when Adam does it.

I love this episode because I can see how much Angel is growing as a person. He stood up to Valentino, who was so afraid of him, for his friend, and it was a brave and honorable choice.

If you look back and pay close attention Vaggie mentions a lot about how the Angels really are in the first episode, something a sinner wouldn’t have known, Charlie is too focused on her song to notice, in Ep 3 on the roof Vaggie tells Charlie “How long are we going to stand by and watch ‘your’ people be killed.” If she was a sinner she would have said our people. In episode 5, when Lucifer started talking about how bad the sinners were and the angels, Vaggie looks away like she is ashamed of something. Plus the X over her eye and the Spear, it’s not rocket science. lol.

*“If Hell is forever then Heaven must be a lie, if angels can do whatever and remain in the sky, the rules are shades of gray when you don’t do as you say when you make the wretched suffer just to kill them again”* Truer words have never been sung. If angels can fall then why can’t demons rise? I would never want to go to any afterlife where they are so elitist and bigoted that even if a demon lived up to their standards they still couldn’t be allowed in.

Charlie is nice enough that she’d definitely have forgiven Vaggie but that is still some rough news to get right after having your dreams crushed.

Emily is so adorable. Lucifer was a serafim, so Charlie and Emily are kind of related. Their duet together is one of the best moments in the show.

In thousands of years, Adam never learned how to respect women. Seriously, acting like Vaggie quit Heaven and that he's still in charge of her,when it's obvious they took it upon themselves to just abandon her in Hell! Lute was there too quickly for my liking. 50/ 50 shot( a bit more than that in my opinion, but who knows for sure?)she was already, at the very least,questioning them in some way and they were keeping an eye on her waiting for her to make a mistake.

This is probably one of the best episodes in this season, along with episode 4. Cherri Bomb coming to the hotel to take Angel and gang out for some fun and this being used as an example during the Heaven meeting to prove how even someone as "sinful" as Angel can change was beautifully done. Vaggie/Maggie being an angel - talk about a plot twist! Sir Pentious cracked me up the entire episode with his clumsy attempts at flirting with Cherri 😂 It was actually heartwarming, seeing Angel take so much care of Niffty. i just wanted to let you know- you forgot to put episode 5 in the hazbin playlist, then episode 6, 7 and 8 are out of order in the playlist as well.

Charlie tried her hardest and did the best she could, but even if she did have enough proof that the Hotel works, I think Sera and the angelic court would have dismissed her no matter what she did. Because she believes what everyone else thought at first, that Hell is the end of the road as is Heaven. And that salvation for sinners that earned damnation is impossible and she pretty much told Emily during their talk at the end of the episode that the human souls in Hell don’t matter. A part of me feels like she enjoys the exterminations, the burning fire in her eyes during the song made that look suspicious. At least Emily believes in Charlie’s dream, she’s a good bean! Fun Fact; During the “Welcome to Heaven” song you’ll see a spider angel with four legs and poofy hair like three times. Fun fact that’s actually Angel’s twin Sister Molly. She one of two of Angel’s family to have gone to Heaven, the rest including Angel all went to Hell when they passed. This makes me want to see Angel redeemed and allowed to go there now more than ever before because he’d be reunited with his little sister and his mother! I’m also very proud of Angel for making great strides at the Hotel, even though he couldn’t have cared less about it at first, I think after the end of Masquerade he decided to take his stay at the hotel and his rehabilitation more seriously. He also finally stood up to Valentino which was extremely satisfying to see!

Honestly I heard people theorise Vaggie was once an Angel and even though I had w feeling it was true, I was still shocked to see how brutal it was. I dont think Charlie is the type of person to care too much about her being an Angel given her empathy for others, though I do still see it causing some problems. I honestly hate Adam and Lute for what they did, even if Adam is funny at times. I also love seeing the character development of Angel Dust growing so mcuh as a person and after his time with Husk he's starting to care about Charlie and the other tenants, even saying they are his friends and finally standing up to that s***head Valentino. I also had a feeling Heaven would be corrupt about the rules too and I got chills when Emily and Charlie had their harmonic duet, and how they flipped Hell is Forever on Adam.

Ye so I heared that the Excorists cover up the right eye probably because according things explained in the Bible, the right eye is the emotional one. They supress emotions. So that they can slaughter, without remorse. "If thy right eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee (matthew 5:29; 18:9) The left eye is intellectual, but the right eye is its affection: that the right eye is to be plucked out means that the affection is to be subdued if it causes stumbling." So, I am not sure what was Vaggie doing without her mask...but literally that is the only reason she ended up like she did, if that is true.

And now we know why Vaggie hat heaven so much. Can you imagine you get banned and cursed by angels because mercy?
