Somebody pointed out to an interesting idea about Alastor. Alastor claims he hasn’t been as entertained as he was during Charlie’s musical number since the Stock Market Crash Of 1929. From that comment, it can perhaps be gleaned that what interests Alastor isn’t just horrific events, but events that will shake or outright destroy the status quo. There have been other horrible events in human, and even just American if we stick to the same region, history since then. He might not be there solely to laugh at failed attempts at redemption like he claims. Maybe he is legitimately interested in how Charlie might shake things up with her plan and actions and wants to have a front row seat to the chaos and the chance to boast about having a hand in whatever fallout is coming their way. There is no way to tell how honest he was and it is noted that nobody really knows his true goals. Also, did you notice how Niffty still had a little smile on her face after Alastor showed Sir Pentious a taste of his power?

Apparently Alastor respects Lucifer so much that he models his look after him. It's a part of why he is always smiling, no matter what. Lucifer never frowns, and is powerful. So Alastor views the act of frowning as an act of weakness.

I remember seeing somewhere that Vivzie hinted at Alastor's voice going clearer means he's genuinely feeling however he's feeling at the moment. Like when he met Charlie, he said "Quite a pleasure!" in a clear voice, which means he was genuinely happy to meet her. Also, when he says "there is no undoing what is done" he means that too.

One thing I feel like deserves more mention is the sound design - particularly the use of cartoon sound effects. It kinda reminds me of Ed, Edd n' Eddy.

Just so you know, out of the many, many (way too many by now) reaction videos to Hazbin Hotel that I've seen, yours is by far my favorite. You were one of the few who treated it with enough respect to try to minimize the talking-over-things, and you paid close enough attention to not only understand the plot, but also to analyze things as you went. The more clear alastor's voice get the more serious he is being. Like he was serious about meeting Charlie cause his voice goes clear when he says "pleasure to meet you", and when he said "if I wanted to hurt you i would've done it already," cause he really did mean it. And was serious about making a deal with her. Again with his reason for showing up at the hotel and finding entertainment through the ophans of the stock market crash. And this seriousness can be hinted at through the quote at the end "stay tuned", possibly meaning that there will be more epiosdes. Edit: and his voice was clear all throughout the song as well

I honestly love Stamper voice acting of Sir Pentious. He did such a good job and I keep repeating his scenes.. Plus I think you can actually see Charlie dad in the beginning but he is in the shadows. You can tell it's him since he is holding a cane shaped of a apple from the painting.

The woman at 3:38 is Lillith, Charlie's Mother, one of the 4 Demon Queens of Hell. The shadowed figure in the chair at the very back of the room is Lucifer, her Father. This means that Charlie's parents are the two most absolutely powerful beings in Hell. Ironically, this means that Charlie cannot be redeemed or enter Heaven, as she is effectively the Anti-Christ

You know, vaggies death was suspected to be following a non-consensual, ptsd inducing event (yes, exactly what your thinking) which may be why she "doesnt trust any man? Any men? Men!?" According to Angel Dust's quip. Shes also been hostile to almost all the men she interacts with, but not the women. Alistor grabs Charlie in his song, and she explodes at him. Think on it!

Crack pot theory: Alastor is getting involved so he can get to Lucifer through Charlie. Or Alastor wants to either die or find redemption, he says he’s bored and people tend to do a lot of inward thinking which can lead to a lot of self hate and regret, Alastor was a cereal killer in his life and clearly shows he’s curious about redemption and could be trying to find a way to atone for his sins…after destroying half of hell’s most powerful entity’s.

That lucifer is in charge of the purging. She is very careful with their words, with what they say and how they say it. Purposefully leaving it open-ended so as to possibly subvert our expectations. My theory on Alistor is he was dubbed the "radio demon" he didn't give himself that name. So he dons that persona and voice to play the role. His voice is clearer the closer he get to being his true self so that's how you know when he is most genuine

A theory I thought of after you mentioned the similarities in Lucifer's and Alastor's face (you're the 2nd KZfaqr I've seen out of the dozens of videos I've watched who's noticed) was that Alastor was enlisted by Lucifer to mess with Charlie. Knowing how desperate she was, Lucifer knew Charlie would accept Alastor's help, and is relying on Alastor to force Charlie to the darker side of herself, to "live up to the family legacy" of brutality and power. Anyone else have a thought on this? Another favorite theory of mine is that Alastor is the half-brother of Charlie, fathered by Lucifer on a mortal on earth during the 1900s.

I am spreading this in anywhere I can. I am here to retcon the theory that Alastor and Charlie's father are the same. You see, Charlie's father was already seen sitting on a chair behind the demoness who opened up the curtains during the opening sequence. He's overshadowed but that's on purpose. If you look closer, behind that one demon with the skull hat, you can see a demon shadow sitting on a chair holding a staff with an apple symbol on it. The very same kind of staff Charlie's father has. Also, this silhouette has a hat similar to her father's. So that's definitely him. Time stamp2:26 At at this time, Alastor was already out there in the streets. And so, since these two were far apart from one another I doubt that these two are the same person. Maybe aesthetic wise, they are. But definitely not the same person. Cheers!

I love how I wasn't the only one who noticed all the tiny details in the characters' expressions and voice! I find it a mystery that Charlie is just beaming positive energy, but there are little hints of her demon side here and there that put you on edge and remind you that she is still... evil? Maybe? Especially that scene at 12:28 where she brainwashes the dragon into being good! That's not good, but that's what she may think of "good"! Because how would a demon know what's truly good or not? I'd love to see this expanded later on! Also yes, everything about this was a masterpiece. After I saw it: Instant 11/10. Disney has some competition!

I have a theory with Alastor, I believe that Alastor is involved with angel and heaven in some way because when he said at in your video 23:27 he said, "The Life they lived before" implying he is out of the equation. As for with almost resembling Charlie's father because his name is Lucifer and in the bible he was an angel and maybe that is all angels' look. (Which would mean Alastor could be a fallen angel as well.) A power that mortal were not able to weild as Vaggie mention imply that maybe he isn't mortal. I believe that he struck a deal with heaven to kill demons but grew bored of it and gave up. But these are just a theory of mine.
