If you watched the pilot for so many friggin times like i did, you can somehow learn to differentiate the smiles alastor uses that corresponds to his emotions. That time where sir pentious appeared he was pissed off because he ruined the moment and made a smart comeback. Though canonically sir pentious is a lot older than alastor. That and almost everyone in the city knows him so its more of a smart pissed off comeback

Okay, so my favorite character just in terms of entertainment is definitely Alastor. I love how he’s so evil and powerful, but he wouldn’t seem like that at first glance. He actually comes across as quite charming, which can make his creepy moments even more unsettling. He also has a very fleshed out backstory. My favorite character in terms of voice acting is actually Angel Dust. That’s not to say anyone else was bad, because Alastor, Nifty, and the rest of the cast had great voices as well, but Angel’s voice is so different from his voice actor’s that it’s fun to hear him slip into it in livestreams. Also, it’s a fun voice that is somehow not that hard to listen to. My favorite character to root for is Charlie, obviously, because she’s the most likable.

Alastor was a radio show host during the 30's, and a serial killer. Angel was a gangster during the 40's, which is why Baggie is so surprised Angel didn't know about Alastor. Only Angeles and Heaven-forged weapons can kill demons for good. Alastor just THOROUGHLY wrecked Sir Pentious, and enjoyed every second of it.

Btw this is an opinion: Charlie didn’t put much back into her own power by ordering Alastor rather than making a deal. She said Alastor was to ‘help for as long as he desired.’ However, Alastor can take ‘helping’ to an extreme and run as much as he wanted, so long as Charlie was still the official head of the place, terms and conditions are a tricky mf
