One of my favorite GnR songs!! Brilliant Anti-war song referencing the assassinations of Martin Luther king, Kennedy, the Vietnam war and all the horrors associated with division and politics. This one surprised me when it was released, in a good way.... Recommend : "Mr. Brownstone" and maybe, "Patience" to see their softer side. Another great reaction, Bro!

"I thought it was a brand"....actually would be a good brand. Slash and the egomaniac singing really took the 90's by storm with Welcome to the Jungle album...it was everywhere! FIRE no doubt. Love the subject matter pointing out the poor suffer for war - not those who start it. Another GREAT track about war? Find the cost of freedom by CSN... "it's buried in the ground!" God bless our troops!!!

Hey man you’ve got to listen to more guns n roses stuff they were unreal and captured a generation with their attitude, maybe nightrain or don’t damn me (a really underrated song). Also you should definitely look into the lyrics of civil war they’re so powerful. Great reaction though dude I’ve subscribed keep it up man

I love this song, his lyrics, Axl' s voice abd the guitars....but all this is a masterpiece! Your reaction fantastic! You can react to an other awesome sing called " You' re Crazy" acoustic version from album " Lies". It' s beautiful, Axl' s voice amazing!

As a kid listening to stupid 80's rock, when these guys showed up it was like a nuke went off. I thought that they'd be a "you-had-to-be-there" band: a band that only Gen X would totally "get" because they killed lame 80's "hair metal" (Poison, Cinderella, Winger, White Lion, Bon Jovi etc). I guess they still hit for people because all the corruption that was on the run in the 90's came flooding back--so it still feels like they're singing about today. "Coma" is GnR's absolute masterpiece in my opinion. But I can also vouch for "Mr Brownstone", "Rocket Queen", and the totally underrated "Don't Damn Me".

"Hair metal" was a label to denote the predominant style of showbiz 80's rock that got slaughtered by GNR, Metallica, hip hop and alt/grunge as Gen X tried to distinguish themselves culturally. I should know: I was there. "Hair metal" or "hair bands" were absolutely what we called all those bands: from Twisted Sister to Cinderella to Bon Jovi to Enuff Z'Nuff to White Lion....even bands that didn't deserve the label like Skid Row or Extreme lazily got the label. "Hair metal" was not a form--but it was what we derisively referred to as the pre-grunge/hip-hop era. Now that you realize your error, there's no need to apologize. I just hope you still think I'm hilarious and adorable.

To be fair, their last album came out 13 years ago and people hated it, and before that, their previous album had come out 15 years ago. They only have 6 albums worth of material, and none of it was released in the past decade. People will stop hearing it if they're not specifically listening to it or being told who it is like when people could flip on MTV and see a band like this perform. Times are different, especially for people who grew up listening to a different kind of music.
