I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. `Ali)?" When we reached the Prophet (ﷺ) I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate `Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him, for HE DESERVES MORE THAN THAT FROM THE KHUMUS." Sahih Bukhari: 4350 Khumus = Holy Prophet's pbuh share of the war booty MashaAllah by having SEXUAL INTERCOURSE with this prisoner of war Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنهما was actually collecting tax (Khumus) on behalf of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). Note: This incident occurred while Hadrat Fathima RA the holiest lady in Islam and much loved wife of Hadrat Ali RA was still alive. MashaAllah the Holy Prophet's indulgent response clearly tells us how deeply he loved Hadrat Ali RA.

He did not marry anyone else in the life of Hazrat Fatima (RA) but after her demise, he married and had 8 wives: Umm-ul-Bunian, Khualah, Umm Habib, Asma, Laila, Umm Saeed, Muhyat, Umama. In total he had 9 wives including Hazrat Fatima (RA).

Dhun-Nurain, Uthman (R.A.) married eight wives in all and he had nine sons. He was married with 2 daughters of great Prophet PBUH
