The seat height at maximum is fine for me and its cushioning is good; time will tell whether it remains so. The seat could be deeper for my long legs, but then it might not fit someone shorter. I wish the back tilt had a firmer/adjustable spring, but that is a feature normally found on heavier, most expensive chairs. This one meets my needs well and was a bargain with the rebate.
