I have created a remake of the 1980s HBO in Space Intro using Blender!

I don't watch HBO anymore and this wonderful effort should replace the current intro they use. I read other comments that said HBO's current intro isn't that great. This is well done and takes me back to when HBO first came on TV.

Great work! So nostalgic. Tv theme songs were great in those days. HBO theme and Dallas theme has that disco sound. I love it.

Solid job dude, you captured the essence of what made that intro so special in the first place. Along with the music, the imagery let you know you were in for a wild ride. The fact that you recreated that in CGI is amazing. Keep going with this, you got something special on your hands.

I tried to make a CG tribute as a test of my abilities. I understand that the original used a physical miniature set, but I was trying to show that HBO could do this in CG, but the just chose not to and go with their modern flat boring logo.
