Right after the start, Tim Benson was putting a nice pass on Louis Kretschmer and took second place behind the leader Adam Izsay. Benson was able to create some pressure onto Izsay but after one-minute Izsay was able to pull away from Benson again. At the end, Izsay won A2 with 1.6 of a second in front of Tim Benson, and Olivier Bultynck in third place. With Kretschmer and Izsay both having one win, the decision for the overall win was shifted to the third A-Main.
