Having watched Highlights of LRZ playing Rugby, the guy's top speed especially is pretty impressive!!!! And I think b/c he was at the top of his game that also says A LOT!!!! Plus I've been thinking abt him more as a running back b/c it wasn't til the SB did a running back scare me more on the opposing team as did Christian McCaffrey & the threat he posed!!! Curious about this lateral throw play I think that's been mentioned. Ironically, the 2 players that made me the most nervous was their running game. It's Josh Allen's as a QB in the Divisional rounds & McCaffrey in the SB!!!! I recently heard Justin Rein talk on the Greenlight podcast say that he almost miss completely tackling Josh Allen in the Divisional Game & how it's harder when the QB can run.

I been saying this. At least one preseason game and see how he does. If he looks ok to see more potential put him another preseason game then keep him out and access where to go from there. I feel he'll be on practice squad till next your at least. However there has never neen this much noise for a international pathway player before so I dunno. He certainly helps the uk to Europe nfl expansion

i’m not massively familiar with American football but what i saw from Christian Wade a few years ago was that he was great running with the ball and beating players. But what he wasn’t used to was running lines where you get protected by blockers, because you have to make breaks without blockers in rugby. so he ran into space rather than areas where team mates can offer protection. LRS should know more about the game though as he’s grown up watching it as his dad played a bit in the UK.

@Jim-qo3gj any ipp still has alot to learn when entering the nfl. It isn't an easy transition. I like the look of lrz and for him I hope he does make the roster. I'd love to see him play. The reason in my opinion for him being hyped is look at him. Young, strong, fast kid with the looks, eye candy for girls. He got it all. They need a guy that will help expand across seas and he has it along with how well he did in rugby. It's a simple marketing ploy, his jersey is already selling out in the UK. Again don't get me wrong I want him to play but if he don't, dont be surprised. Honestly, tho I feel he will get a preason game, but regular I don't see it. To much rides on regular season.

I agree with Cole about Howard. The guy was really underrated his whole career, but he is older now. We definitely don’t need any additional drama, plus I’m really excited about the young guys- Johnson and Williams in particular. Connor has also spent a little time playing at corner and Spags has went as far to mention it on occasion. Let’s see what those guys can bring, they have earned it, they are Chiefs! Let’s go!!!

Interesting note that's not really being talked about, but the Chiefs are actually already using their International player allowance for Chukwuebuka Godrick (Most recently in the news for being arrested for Marajuana) who was assigned to them for the 23 Season so this boils down to 1 of 3 options. 1. They think one of them is going to make the Roster on their own merits 2. They don't want their IPP players to think it's an easy ride and they will at the very least make it to the PS 3. They're not as high on Godrick this year as they were assigned him by the IPP, while Zammit is the guy they've directly signed by choice. Its actually interesting to watch who is using their exemption, who has taken IPP players, who's scouted their own and who aren't using the exemption at all. (31 Teams have an exemption player atm). I will note, the player the IPP assigned to the Chiefs in 22 is also still in the League. Kehinde Oginni Hassan was assigned but waived before the season. He's been out of the league since but the Falcons just picked him up as a camp prospect.

The best thing I a finding are his interviews at the moment, he just so excited to be mixing with the team and having the opportunity. Mix this with a great family support, fantastic worth ethic and sheer ability we are hoping it makes our country proud. 40 Years a London Bears fan...but also an avid rugby fan. LRZ is the real deal. He's still young, super athletic, and a real hard working and intelligent student of sport. He's landed with you guys, which is probably the best place he can be in terms of coaching and support. I truly believe he will make the roster and by the end of the season make your first team, his skill set is incredibly diverse, size, speed, strength, awareness, you guys have yourselves a baller to shape and mold any way you like. Wish you all the best of luck with your season, I'll be keeping a keen eye on LRZ's progress throughout.

I'm an LRZ stan, but we're in new territory, so it's hard to call. I sincerely believe he can be something special, and turn his differences into strengths, especially in the Chiefs offence, but I'm not gonna say it's a done deal till we see him in action. Dropping a catch in rugby is probably the most embarrassing thing to do and you don't get a second chance and it usually gives the opposition a big territory advantage. Pad LRZ up and pop him a pass, then we'll have a better idea of whether he can offer something special like he's been doing in rugby for years.

So much pressure on Louis before he's even made the roster. Give him time and space to learn and grow. I honestly think he will bring something 'extra' to the Chiefs. Why else would he be there? Somebody saw it, somebody made the call, somebody signed it off. He's the real deal and putting everything on the line with this opportunity. Personally I can't wait. ...and in other news, Travis Kelce shirt sales have (and I hate to be that guy) surged, especially in the UK of late, thanks to his appearances at his girlfriends concerts - many 'Swifties' could be seen wearing them in the crowd.

I think this Welshman LRZ is an exciting prospect. Patrick Mahomes stated LRZ was physically capable although I feel his strength, fitness and speed are in relation to rugby. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens when the league starts. Bring him on as a utility player such as kick receiver and then take it from there. His moment will come and hopefully he gets what he's been working for. LRZ is totally dedicated.

Pat doesn’t play QB the way we’ve seen anyone play the position, why would LRZ necessarily need to adapt all of his skills to American Football unless it’s dangerous or of course illegal? I say we see LRZ in at least preseason before making any calls. I’m rooting for him.

Hey just FYI last month per the NFL UK site jersey sales were 1) Kelce 2) Mahomes 3) LRZ - the first month you could buy his jersey. They made a cool graphic for it. I believe the chiefs brought LRZ in to be the next McKinnon (RB2-3). If he can show up as a blocker in camp he has a great chance to make the 53. Our RB depth chart is TBD lol

I'm here for LRZ news as well. Lifelong rugby fan, former rugger and US citizen that also loves American Football. It's going to be a challenge for any rugby player to convert to American football just as an American football player would struggle with full 15 ( NOT 7s) rugby. But athleticism won't be the issue. Plenty of that. It is getting used to running back that will be hard. In special teams I think he can shine as a returner. There he can just be an athlete.

I think LRZ speed and kicking ability alone make him a lock even if they have to stick him somewhere weird in the lineup. I think he’s in before toney moore ross remigio tbh

Probably 1 year of learning on the practice squad for LRZ. There is a lot to learn.

LRZ biggest weakness in Rugby was his defence, however the same could be said for Christian Wade (arguably the better offensive player in Rugby) and it didnt work out for him. I really hope it works out for Reez Lightning ⚡ as he's a lot younger than Wade and still got a lot of room to grow

KC needs to keep LZ. I think he could be a really good player. Just give him a little bit. I think he could be as successful as Jordan Malaita is.

Pulling for lrz but it would be quite the feat if he makes the 53. And I don't think we need to sign another cb. Our o line depth is a bigger concern in my book.
