Hover-1 Pioneer Tire Tube Change [How-to]

Since I have some time today, I decided to change out the inner tube from my Hover-1 Pioneer. This process should work with other Brand that look like this model such as the Hover-1 Journey or Xiaomi M365. Don't mind all the background noise. Enjoy!

Took me about an hour to do and thats only because it took me damn near 45 minutes to put the tire back on...tire is thicker than a bike tire so much harder once u get the tie wraps on it atleast 3. Then i used my size 12 wrench round head side to push the tire on the rim then its just about strength lol. My hands probably gonna be sore in the morning..will probably ice it

It seems like getting the tire on and off the rim is the worst part. Im following along fixing mine now. My new tube and tire just came in today.😊

@@HBV90 I wish you could post pics in replies. It worked out good, I just did it watching along with your video it was very helpful. I could see why you cut the vid during caliper and tire removal and installation. Caliper removal and getting the tire on and off the rim were a slight bitch but i got it. Back on the road. 😂

Mine has foot brakes so no caliper. Back rim looks solid with a cable going to it. Screwed together

That’s an aftermarket tire you have on there, correct? If so, can you post the link on where to purchase that please? I’m trying to replace my sons back tire on his pioneer and I feel like the rear tire I purchased is too wide. The tire is meant for a Xiaomi scooter.

I tried it with a fork and a meza knife and they both bent, the rim is ridiculously hard.

I messed up putting the tube in, now only half of it wants to fill with air, it's kinked pretty much, just don't want to try and pry the tire back off and accidently rip the new tube, what should I do?

make sure you deflate the tire all the way before prying the tire off. less chance of you prying the tube.

@@youtheman8392 1PZ 10x2. 125inch inner tube. Bought it from Walmart. At first when arrived i told it might not work, but after replacing it fits well and i’m running my scooter for a 2 month without a problem. So i recommend it. Hope this is useful.
