I had Psyche Out when I was a kid, but I remember not really knowing what to do with him. I either used him as a communication officer or he he was put in my Havoc because I didn't know what to do with him and he could help drive the Havoc.

I would sometimes use Psych Out as anti-mind control since Crystal Ball and Mindbender liked to mind control Joes or ordinary citizens sometimes. His radio waves would counter any subliminal programming in nearby subjects. Of course BATS were immune to Psychout’s paranoia attack so he’d get trapped by a lone BAT figure in every fight and have to be rescued.

Psyche Out87 did have animated apperances in commercials, they were non-speaking roles. Coastal Defender- He is fighting side by side with Tunnel Rat Defiant Space Shuttle- He's seen running behind Jinx as they were running towards their battle stations. Crystal Ball also makes an appearance.

I never had Pshyche-Out as a kid, but bought one as an adult. He never appealed to me back then, but today he doesn't seem so bad. Maybe it's the antenna on the back of his head, bright color scheme and strange-looking backpack.

in Poland Tiger Force Psyche Out was pretty popular... and due to te fact that comics we got were from much before... I knew psyche-out as a black haired dude only for him to appear in the comics as blond.

As someone who has actually spent time in the military, here are a few insights. Psyche- Out seems to be confusing psyops with electronic warfare specialist and a little bit of 73B, clinical psychologist. Psyops folks spend a great deal of time planning missions for other units and advising from a board room. Electronic warfare specialists usually have the funky gear and can be either in the field or based somewhere safe eavesdropping on enemy communications.

The best thing about Psyche Out was that you could take the red "radar dishes" off of his arm clips, connect the clips with a length of "Black hose" and have high-tech handcuffs for capturing enemy agents.

Maybe his alternate could be Zartan, Zartan uses high tech holograms an is deceptive with his physical disguises , another great video HCC!! You rule :)

In one of WEB Griffens novels the psychological experts flooded the Philippines with matchbooks that read I shall return-MacArthur. That’s how I see this guy used. But I’m not sure that’s fun for a toy

There should be a 'half the battle' joke in there some place. I mean that line in the file card about the bad guys know the fight is over & they lost? Just seems to be asking for something.

Phyche-out has played a very prominent role in the more recent issues of A Real American Hero by IDW. Hopefully that prominent role will continue when the series countinues under the new publisher.

Love the Wayne’s World skit. Psych-out is an interesting character but not a good figure in my opinion.

Definitely one I never picked up. He actually gets a fair amount of attention in the ongoing Hama comic that continues the Marvel series. Nothing particularly deep, but he shows up a lot, and generally in the counselor role.

Too many elbow cracks, brother. You gotta take care of that. I, myself hate elbow cracks. I try not to even buy figures with elbow cracks. If i end up getting one, i always replace them.

I should have understood Psyche-Out more to fully utilize him. My play got really repetitive and uninspired in those later years.

Such a strange figure. I can say I did not have Psyche-out and he would not have been high on my list. Too strange. He looks like something out of an old Sci-Fi serial or something. Neat idea but strange product.

The bottom half of this figure is great, the top half completely ruins it. It's too bad because this type of character is perfect for a military toy line and fills a niche spot in the GI Joe line.
