That game 5... actually the whole series... wow. I generally watch these VODs kind of in the background, but I had to stop what I was doing and actually watch this series play out.

Game 1: Viper made such a misplay when he go face with witchwood imp If he decided to attack burglar, he would have won

I was rooting for hunterace too, but he did a misplay with the si7 trade into the 4/3. The last game was awesome.

Would have made the explosive trap way too obvious, imo a calculated play that worked out perfectly

@@torepettersen6965 I think so too. Viper's misplay was far more obvious : he should have tested the secret before developping the board. The second stealth imp would have won him the game, as Hunterace had no way to deal with it.

it's so much more than luck. How can someone be so lucky to win multiple championships? He just has the least amount of misplays and the best read on the meta and his opponents.

Well, you can decrease the luck factor to a point where it's more about skill and understanding the mechanics. Count the odds of each individual event each turn and plan ahead. Don't focus on single draws or matches - you will see the difference in the long run.

Gonna call him lucky after that game 5? Lol get the fuck off TCG communities. It's all about giving yourself good odds. Unlike what Viper did in that game 5 and still damn near won. Viper was luckier Hunterace was smarter.
