I legitimately shed tears watching this. He was a huge influence on me growing up and I will forever be grateful being able to see him during his years of unbelievable play on the court. Thank you AI. so much for helping (albeit indirectly) me through many different difficult life situations.

Allen Iverson played with heart, man. He's a player who doesn't need a ring to validate his career. A definite lock for the hall of fame and one of the most iconic players ever.

one of my fav player times of all, played with so much heart, and lead a team to the finals, some can measure the the greatness by ring or mvp, but he ´played so hard, EVERY game, until the game, and never left the sixer in his prime, even with tha bad team they had. Celtics fan here

I don't get to many Jazz games, but Jordan and I went to one several years ago against the 76ers. It was a great game, and Iverson hit a three in the last couple of seconds of regulation to put it into overtime. As I remember it, the Jazz prevailed in the end, but it was a treat watching Iverson play.

Man iverson is one of the most underated athletes ever. I mean you rarely hear it but no way Iverson is not in the top 5 point guards ever his steals points and assits per game are top 15 alltime. He defended very well overall despite him cheating on passes he stole A LOT of them, he always went hard as fuck
