Spain`s the same. Its a Riot when the Spanish bring on the pyrotechnics. I`ve been to a few of these Mascleta. At each one I`ve seen people being taken off to hospital - to have their hearing assessed. First time I ever went to one of these it was to Las Fallas de Valencia, Spain. I had no idea what to expect. I thought the Festival would comprise some pretty lasses riding by on horseback. Little did I know.... The next one I went to ( the following day ) I stood a quarter of a mile away from the town square and still had pieces of wood drop on top of my head. I`m so pleased I live in Europe, notwithstanding millions of dim-wits have voted for us to leave The European Union.

I'm from San Severo, not everyone run under those fireworks, so not everyone damage themselves- Anyway, is a dangerous but good festivity. I'm not a fujentes, but I can proudly say "C' vdìm àu fnèl!" (We will see each other at the end. Hope I translate well qwq) So, if you like, I'm waiting for you!

Thanks! Hope Scheveningen fireworks competition will do something like it. It's my guess, I think our rules make it a lot more distant and more focussed on the visual effects.
