А мы в Дубае около Дубай молла смотрели этот танец Поздний вечер и эта музыка это было море удовольствия.Сейчас к сожалению из-за вас шакалов российских у нас горе,вам того же и вашим детям.

It's not Arabic. It's rooted in Levantine and Mesopotamian cultures before the Arabic colonization. It survived the linguistic, religious and cultural genocide

@@basileus-pr6jh both ancient and modern levant was inhabited by Arabs as well. Dabke is a folk dance of the people of the levant who are Arabic. A lot of cultures and Mediterranean countries have their own version of the dabke- like the Greeks, Albania etc but dabke is a Levantine Arabic cultural folk dance. A lil more info lol.. Levantine is anything pertaining to the Levant, the region centered around modern Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan, including any person from the Levant. Syria (region), corresponding to the modern countries of the Levant. The main languages spoken in the Levant was Syriac, a form of Aramaic. You also had Greek speakers in the many Greek city states that followed the Byzantines. You had some speakers of a language related to Arabic - Nabataen, but it WASN’T as widespread as Arabic. Hebrew wasn't widely spoken. The Levant is one of the earliest centers of sedentism and agriculture throughout history, and some of the earliest agrarian cultures, Pre-Pottery Neolithic, developed in the region. Previously regarded as a peripheral region in the ancient Near East, modern academia largely considers the Levant was a center of civilization on its own, INDEPENDENT OF Mesopotamia and Egypt. Throughout the Bronze and Iron ages, the Levant was home to many ancient Semitic-speaking peoples and kingdoms, and is considered by many to be the urheimat of Semitic languages. (Arabic is a Semitic language) I found this part interesting.. Under the Umayyads, the capital was moved to Damascus. However, the Levant did not experience wide-scale Arabian tribal settlement unlike in Iraq, where the focus of Arabian tribal migration was. Archaeological and historical evidence strongly suggest there was smooth population continuity and no large-scale abandonment of major sites and regions of the Levant after the Muslim conquest (so most of the people of the ancient levant are ancestors of modern levant and the Muslims there converted).
